The White Lotus star Meghann Fahy lands next TV role

The White Lotus‘ Meghann Fahy has been cast in TV thriller The Good Daughter opposite Rose Byrne.
In a change of roles, actress Fahy, famed for her part as Daphne Sullivan in season 2 of ‘The White Lotus’, is stepping into the shoes previously filled by Jessica Biel in an upcoming Peacock drama.
The television series is modeled after the book by Karin Slaughter, and it narrates the lives of Charlotte (Fahy) and Samantha (Byrne) Quinn, who are sisters, as they deal with the aftermath of a violent event from 28 years ago that has significantly impacted their lives.
When the town of Pikeville is under attack for a second time, Charlotte arrives at the scene first. As a lawyer now, just like her father was, she must grapple with her past as the investigation unearths hard-to-swallow realities.
In conclusion, both Charlotte and Samantha ponder if the cost of always being a dutiful daughter was justified in retrospect.
Actress Fahy, who has previously appeared in shows like “The Bold Type” and the popular Netflix series “The Perfect Couple”, is set to star in an upcoming drama titled “Rebuilding”, alongside Josh O’Connor in its next release.
Directed and penned by Max Walker-Silverman, this film tells the story of a rancher character played by O’Connor, whose family farm is left in ruins following a devastating fire.
Additionally featuring actress Kali Reis from “True Detective: Night Country,” the movie is set to make its debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January.
Afterward, Fahy is set to appear in the movie titled “The Unbreakable Boy“, which shares its name with a book that was itself influenced by a real-life event.
In American movie theaters starting February next year, the film by writer-director Jon Gunn centers around the profound bond between father and son, featuring Jacob Laval as Austin LeRette, a boy with brittle bone disease and autism, and Zachary Levi portraying his dad Scott.
A premiere date for The Good Daughter is to be announced.
