As a passionate participant, I’m thrilled about the BLAST Bounty event! Unlike regular tournaments, this one boasts a flexible prize pool that gets distributed based on rankings and individual match performances. The key to pocketing the maximum reward is maintaining peak performance throughout.

What are the Criteria for a Wildcard team selection?

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve come to understand that BLAST has certain criteria for a Wildcard team. To secure a spot, a team must meet these conditions:

  • It includes at least 3 players who individually were members of a top 8 Roster on the VRS at any time during the preceding 12 months or,
  • It has won any Tier 1 event in the 12 months preceding the announcement of the Wildcard Invite.

As a devoted fan, I’m acknowledging that currently, only Team Falcons fits the bill according to the given criteria. It’s exciting to know that other teams in the Virtual Racing Series (VRS), who are eagerly awaiting their chance, have been extended an invitation for the upcoming Wildcard events.

What is the BLAST Bounty Tournament all about?

BLAST Bounty Teams revealed: Falcons only Wildcard announced

32 teams, comprising 28 high-ranked ones according to Valve’s Global Ranking and 4 wildcards chosen by BLAST, will participate in the BLAST Bounty Qualifiers. Each of these teams carries a prize.

At this particular event, the top-ranked teams are likely to attract attention due to their status, making them prime targets and increasing the pressure when the competition begins. The matches will be played as a best-of-three single elimination tournament, with the initial two rounds taking place online during the first week from European servers.

As a gamer, I’m hyped to know that the top eight squads from the 32 competing teams are heading to Copenhagen for the main event! This tournament takes place at the BLAST Studios, promising a thrilling LAN experience as we go head-to-head in single-elimination matches. The Grand Finals will be a nail-biting best-of-five showdown that’ll surely decide the ultimate champion!
