Emily Atack celebrates her 35th birthday as famous friends including Laura Whitemore and Leigh Francis share hilarious album of photos
As an ardent fan who has grown up with Emily Atack’s charming antics and wit, I can confidently say that her 35th birthday was nothing short of a celebration worthy of royalty! The outpouring of love from her fellow celebrities was a testament to the lasting friendships she’s forged along her journey.
On Wednesday, Emily Atack turned 35, and her well-known friends commemorated the occasion by posting a funny photo collection on Instagram.
Initially, Leigh Francis and Laura Whitmore, who used to be panelists on Celebrity Juice with The Rivals star, started the flood of affectionate remarks that Emily later posted on her Instagram story.
Laura posted a picture of the two of them, both sporting identical white t-shirts and overalls, sitting at the rear of a truck loaded with hay.
The previous host of Love Island, Emily Atack, was wished a happy birthday with this message: ‘Happy Birthday to this amazing person, Emily Atack! What an incredible ride it’s been!’
In a fun twist, the entertainer commonly recognized as Keith Lemon, whose real name is Leigh Francis, posted a picture on social media. In the snapshot, he’s sporting a long brown wig and an orange gown, striking a pose alongside Emily.
In the photo, Leigh coordinated her makeup with Emily, sporting black eyeliner, a rosy blush on her cheeks that were also contoured, and a layer of lip gloss.
He penned: ‘Happy birthday to the very silly and lovely @emilyatack xxx’.
Emily’s little sister, Martha, posted a comical picture of Emily napping on a couch in the Rivals trailer during breaks as a fun way to celebrate the day.
The actress dazzled, adorned with a radiant assortment of elegant cosmetics, and donned the character Sarah Stratton’s pink gown underneath a lengthy, padded black coat that cascaded over her lower limbs.
Martha wrote: ‘Love visiting you on set and you sleep the entire time @emilyatack’.
In the meantime, Molly Schofield, Philip Schofield’s daughter who is 31 years old, posted a photo of them both in swimsuits while they were vacationing together.
Emily appeared cheerful, donning a stylish navy triangle bikini with a distinctive pattern, and she gathered her lengthy, damp blonde hair in a bright yellow towel.
Molly was stunningly beautiful while wearing a blue cut-out swimsuit, accessorized with sunglasses, and playfully raising her arms for a photo, all the while protecting herself from the sunlight.
She penned: ‘Happy birthday @emilyatack. Bringing this cracker back for you special day’.
As I, a fervent admirer, learn that Emily is about to step into the star-studded cast alongside Rachel Shenton from All Creatures Great And Small and Samuel Anderson from Doctor Who in The Rumour, my heart skips a beat with anticipation!
The recently launched TV series on Channel 5 is inspired by the critically acclaimed, top-selling novel with the same title, penned by Lesley Kara.
The program delves into the way rumors spreading in a quiet town can escalate uncontrollably, sometimes leading to unexpected outcomes.
Rachel Shenton takes on the role of Joanna, a young mother shifting base to the small town of Flinstead in search of a new beginning.
Yet, when Joanna accidentally comes across an internet gossip about a well-known pedophile residing in their town, she decides to exploit this information to gain favor among the mothers she meets at the school entrance.
Regarding participating in the show, she expressed her enthusiasm, stating: “I can’t wait to embody Joanna. The Whispered Truth is a tale about a woman who, in her pursuit of the real story, begins to unravel herself.
‘She’s very relatable and the cast are amazing. It’s lovely to work with so many women.’
Wolf Hall’s Joanne Whalley and Enola Holmes’s Ellie Haddington are also part of the cast.
Paul Testar, Drama Commissioning Editor at Channel 5, remarked: Lesley Kara’s gripping tale, combined with an exceptional ensemble, guarantees nail-biting tension and a compelling journey into the delicate boundary separating trust from apprehension.
Dixie Linder, from Cuba Pictures, explained that the film, ‘The Rumor’, explores the disturbing effects of rumors, fear, and mistrust within a tightly bonded group.
‘With a brilliant cast and a fantastic creative team, we can’t wait for audiences to see it.’
The Rumour is expected to arrive on screens in 2025. It’s not yet known what role Emily will play.
It comes after Disney+ confirmed Rivals has been renewed for a second series.
The series is modeled after Jilly Cooper’s scandalous Rutshire Chronicles, brimming with similar clever humor, love triangles, steamy love scenes, and indelible personalities.
The tale unfolds in the year 1986 and delves into the ruthless realm of TV broadcasting, highlighting the intense competition between Rupert Campbell-Black (Hassell) and Lord Tony Baddingham (Tennant).
In the initial season, many social events such as parties and lunches at Lord Baddingham’s countryside estate led to heated romances and unrequited longings.
According to Rotten Tomatoes, the film garnered an outstanding 94% rating on the Tomatometer (critics’ scale) and a remarkable 91% approval from all viewers on the Popcornmeter.
