As an experienced gamer with over two decades of Pokémon and gaming under my belt, I must say this partnership between Niantic and McDonald’s is nothing short of genius! Growing up, I remember the excitement of catching ’em all while running around neighborhood parks and schools. Now, I can do it at the comfort of my favorite fast-food joint!

Niantic, the company behind the hit game Pokémon GO, has teamed up with the well-known fast-food chain McDonald’s in the United States. This collaboration means that over 13,500 McDonald’s locations nationwide will become PokéStops and Gyms for the game. These events are already underway and will run regularly until March 16, 2025.

Previously, Pokémon GO didn’t just partner with one U.S. brand – they teamed up with Chatime, Verizon, Amazon Prime Gaming, and others for location-based collaborations that were sponsored. Now, they’ve announced another thrilling partnership with McDonald’s! This collaboration will see the introduction of sponsored Pokéstops and Gyms at all 13,500 McDonald’s restaurants during the Dual Destiny season.

As a gamer, I can now head to my local McDonald’s outlets across the USA during designated Raid Weeks, and find myself surrounded by various Pokemons lured by special Modules at their participating Pokestops. Plus, I get the opportunity to join five-star raids at their partner Gyms!

The Lure Modules and Raids are scheduled for a particular time, which is daily from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., adjusted to your local time. Also, you can access them within these upcoming weeks.
