As a dedicated Strictly Come Dancing fan who has seen the highs and lows of the show, I am overjoyed to see Amy Dowden making a triumphant comeback for the live tour next year. Her determination and resilience are truly inspiring, especially after her recent health struggles and having to miss out on this year’s competition.

On Wednesday, Amy Dowden from Strictly, along with her partner Carlos Gu, appeared cheerful and vibrant while attending a series of interviews in Manchester.

The dancer appeared overjoyed to resume her job, as it was announced by TopMob that she would return triumphantly for the Strictly live tour, following her withdrawal from this season’s competition.

On the BBC Breakfast show, Amy was radiantly dressed from head to toe in a vibrant red outfit, pairing high heels with tailored pants and a holiday-themed sweater.

Fan favorite from Strictly is publicizing her upcoming tour with Carlos, named Reborn, that’s set to commence on the roads starting next Spring.

First, let me inform you that Amy is scheduled to return to the dance floor, as she’ll be participating in the Strictly live tour, which takes place in January.

34-year-old dance prodigy was deeply disheartened when she sustained a shin stress fracture, leading to her absence from the competition. Regrettably, this meant she couldn’t witness her partner, JB Gill of JLS fame, progressing all the way to the finale.

This year, Amy came back to Strictly for the first time since undergoing a mastectomy due to being diagnosed with breast cancer. Therefore, her withdrawal from the program due to an injury was especially agonizing.

Dance performer Lauren Oakley, aged 33, will join the tour and compete alongside JB, stepping in for Amy who had to withdraw due to illness during this season.

One of seven duos is set to journey across the nation during the upcoming New Year for a 30-date tour that spans from January 17 to February 9.

Amy and JB will be accompanied on the Strictly tour by EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, Michelle Tsiakkas, former Gladiator Montell Douglas, Kai Widdrington, opera singer Wynne Evans, Katya Jones, and actor Shayne Ward along with his partner Nancy XU.

Tasha Ghouri, Aljaz Skorjanec, Sarah Hadland, and Vito Coppola join the roster of Strictly celebrities following the weekend’s finale, where Chris McCausland created history as the first visually impaired contestant to claim victory on the show.

Chris, the winner, won’t be joining the Strictly tour as he didn’t anticipate staying in the competition for such a lengthy period, let alone winning it.

However, instead of dancing for the BBC, he has decided to embark on a solo comedy tour titled Yonks! earlier than initially planned.

In January, Chris began the tour; he continued until May, and originally, he was set to return in September. However, the schedule was adjusted to make room for Strictly.

As I look back on that moment, it seemed that skill level wasn’t something we contemplated much. In retrospect, it appears that everyone around me might have underestimated my potential.
