Euphoria’s Lukas Gage kissed Pitch Perfect star Anna Camp six months after finalising divorce from Chris Appleton
As I delve into the captivating narrative of Lukas’s life, I am struck by the rollercoaster ride of emotions he has experienced. From his whirlwind romance and subsequent marriage to Chris, to coming out as gay after a heartfelt audition for The Little Mermaid, Lukas’s journey is nothing short of remarkable.
Last week, it was discovered who the enigmatic brunette, Lukas Gage, was seen locking lips with.
At a SAG-AFTRA event hosted at the Chateau Marmont on a Friday evening, it was observed that Gage, aged 29, and Anna Camp, aged 42 (known for her role in Pitch Perfect), were sharing a kiss.
In our midst, I couldn’t help but notice how their focus was solely on each other, seemingly unaware of the other blonde who leapt into the scene, flashing a thumbs-up. It was as if no one else existed for them in that moment.
On that evening, Lukas donned a stylish, multi-colored green jacket (with hints of other shades) and paired it with black pants. He was seen beaming and enjoying himself while socializing with a group of women at the party.
After the event, Camp posted on Instagram, describing the evening as “wonderful” while sharing photographs of her glamorous red-carpet outfit.
She expressed her gratitude in a post, saying, “Thank you, @entertainmentweekly, for the wonderful evening at the @sagaftra event. Also, a big thank you goes out to @makeupelabela, @dereksyuen, and my beloved hot pink heels.
The smooch comes six months after Gage finalised his divorce from Chris Appleton, 41.
The You alum was briefly married to Kim Kardashian’s hairdresser Chris in 2023, but the couple split that same year.
Lukas and Chris reached a divorce settlement in June, seven months after their divorce was filed.
In the vibrant city of Las Vegas, they exchanged vows in April 2023. The event was overseen by none other than Kim Kardashian, while musical legend Shania Twain serenaded them with her hit song “You’re Still The One.
In the month of November, they chose to part ways. Chris attributed this to ‘unresolvable disagreements’, while Lukas described his decision to marry as ‘excessive and utterly irrational’.
Lukas denied the allegations he may have been dishonest, yet hinted at the fact that he had entered into a confidentiality agreement (NDA), which prevents him from disclosing the details of the situation.
On Watch What Happens Live!, I opened up about my personal journey, sharing that I experienced a prolonged manic phase lasting approximately six months. During this time, there were moments when I found myself drawn towards certain items like furry jackets. But as I reflect on it now, I can’t help but wonder: What was happening to me?
‘I don’t know literally what went through my head, but we live and we learn.
Andy pried about the ‘allegations of cheating’, but Lukas said adamantly: ‘There was no cheating.’
Yet, he indeed mentioned: “Ah, dear Lord. Andy, that’s the three-word document I put my name on.” To which Andy inquired: “Was it a Non-Disclosure Agreement you signed, with him?
The actor declined to confirm or deny, responding with “I invoke my Fifth Amendment rights,” as Andy pointed out that it appeared he was smitten at the moment.
Lukas replied to Andy’s question about marriage, saying “Mania,” since they had only been dating for two short months.
He explained: ‘Yeah, that is kind of how I roll, I am a little impulsive, you know me, but that was probably one of the most unhinged things I’ve ever done in my life.
He admitted: ‘I will probably have six other marriages over the course of his lifetime.’
Earlier, Lukas shared his experience of feeling compelled to label his sexuality after initially posting photos with Chris for the first time.
Discussing fans asking if they were dating, he said: ‘If they want to think that, they can.
I’m quite transparent about many aspects of my life, however, I struggle with the custom that demands people share everything about themselves, leaving no room for privacy or secrets.
‘It’s a weird line that I’m still trying to figure out.’
The year after, during his appearance on the Seek Treatment with Cat & Pat podcast, he openly identified as gay. This realization came to him when a neighbor, whom he had previously considered a friend, expressed romantic feelings towards him.
He recalled: ‘We would listen to records and play PlayStation together. I just kept coming over to his apartment. After a month or two he was like: “All right, well, I’m going to kiss you now.” Then we dated for three years.’
After trying out for the part of Prince Eric in Sofia Coppola’s abandoned live-action version of The Little Mermaid, Lukas emerged from the audition process.
In the audition, he was instructed to show vulnerability and reveal a personal truth. He admitted that he broke down in tears and disclosed to the audience, “I’ve been secretly seeing my neighbor and keeping it hidden from everyone, even my own family.
Soon after, he came out to his mother in a teary phone call.
Lukas remembered: “She said, ‘Quiet down, what’s with the tears? I’ll be there in a minute, and we’ll have dinner with him.’ Subsequently, we went out for dinner. We attempted the spicy challenge at Jitlada, but in the end, I couldn’t handle it.
Prior to making my revelation, my partner of two years confided in me that I was undeniably bisexual and possibly homosexual. However, I chose to dismiss those thoughts at the time.
