Superstar looks unrecognizable in campaign for new lingerie line
As a long-time follower of Kim Kardashian’s journey, I must admit that her new look for the SKIMS campaign left me quite surprised and intrigued! While I’ve seen her transform through various hairstyles and fashion choices over the years, this 1960s pinup-inspired style felt like a refreshing twist.
Kim Kardashian’s fans were stunned by her new look for a fresh SKIMS campaign shared on Monday.
The 44-year-old brunette beauty was showing off blonde locks as she posed in pinup styles.
One picture depicted her wearing a tiny fur bikini that seemed too small for her, miraculously revealing cleavage, side cleavage, and lower cleavage.
During the entire photoshoot, her hair was large and blonde, while her eyes were accentuated with heavy eyeliner, giving her a striking similarity to the iconic 1960s pin-up actress, Brigitte Bardot.
The message ‘WINTER HEAT will be available from 9AM PT / 12PM ET on Wednesday, December 18. Download the SKIMS app to gain early access.’ conveys the same meaning in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
However, her followers didn’t find a strong resemblance between her and either herself or Brigitte. Instead, they noticed a striking similarity to Beyoncé, and in certain instances, Ciara. Interestingly, these observations were reflected in the likes on the post.
One follower remarked, “I mistook you for Beyoncé,” while another exclaimed, “For a moment, I thought you were Beyoncé.
The spectator remarked, “I believed it was Beyoncé or Ciara.” Later, an inquiry ensued, “Why do you seem to be imitating Beyoncé, laugh out loud.” (Informal)
One fan thought she looked Colombian: ‘It’s giving Shakira.’
Another person thought Kim’s hair was fake: ‘Award for the Best Supporting Actor goes to the ‘WIG’.’
As a devoted admirer, I’m thrilled to share that my post has garnered likes from some incredible individuals, including the legendary Mom Kris Jenner, the radiant Hailey Bieber, the captivating Nicole Williams English, and the charismatic Scott Disick. What an honor!
In some photos, she was wearing a cable-knit sweater top and pants. A picture of her in a fur bikini showed her donning knee-high boots while striking a pose near a furry blanket.
Recently, I found myself navigating my bustling New York City SKIMS store on a scooter, a few days after making headlines in a stylish yet casual ensemble. It’s important to note that I’ve been managing quite well despite breaking a foot earlier this month – a minor setback that hasn’t stopped me from living my life and running my business as usual.
Last week Kardashian said she is hoping to bring SKIMS to the runway.
Since its launch in 2019, the shapewear brand owned by the celebrity on reality TV has been thriving and growing steadily.
Kim is now looking to the future and hopes to eventually create a SKIMS fashion show.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m excited to share that I envision us potentially creating an extraordinary event, not your typical runway show on the standard fashion calendar, but rather something distinct and unconventional.
During the interview, Kim emphasized that any future event or project would need to be something exceptional, not just a typical affair. However, she is always open to new possibilities. Furthermore, regarding her brand, Kim highlighted her active involvement, although she doesn’t design every piece herself, she ensures each item meets her approval before it’s released.
She explained: ‘I know every single product that we have, I have fit every single product that we have coming out. And I know if there is something that slid by me, that I didn’t get the final approval on from the detail on the stitching.
Additionally, I don’t always personalize every piece, but when possible, I like to demonstrate different ways to style an item, whether it’s by trying it on myself or arranging it in my own wardrobe, rather than showing it as it was originally modeled on another person.
I delight in regularly displaying our hosiery and shapewear. I believe it carries significant importance, as I find myself wearing shapewear with almost everything. Prior to [Skims], it wasn’t necessarily unacceptable, but it hadn’t quite reached the ‘cool’ status yet.
She mentioned: ‘If you believe that a slip isn’t necessary with this see-through dress, you’re wrong. Instead, wear shapewear beneath it and it will provide the same function.’
