Brandi Glanville, 52, looks unrecognisable as she leaves fans stunned by her dramatically taut visage in latest health update – after ‘parasite’ left her disfigured

As a seasoned observer of human nature and a connoisseur of reality TV drama, I find myself deeply concerned about Brandi Glanville‘s current predicament. Having witnessed countless transformations and tribulations in the realm of plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancement, I can empathize with her frustration and confusion. It seems that the elusive ‘parasite’ has taken a heavy toll on her life, both physically and financially.

Brandi Glanville appeared almost unrelated when she posted about her well-being on Instagram last Sunday.

52-year-old celebrity from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills surprised followers by sharing an image displaying a puffy facial appearance earlier this month. She stated that medical professionals suspect she might harbor a parasite moving across her skin.

In her recent update, Brandi was seen with a tightly drawn facial expression at a dentist visit, due to discomfort from dental pain that left her unable to eat.

The television personality maintained a relaxed appearance in a deep-v necked gray pullover and a brown cap while conversing with the doctor, who assured her they would restore her grin.

Brandi playfully declared: ‘I need to eat, give me teeth!’.

Fans were taken aback by how much Brandi had changed, and they flocked to the comments section, questioning whether the woman in the video was really Brandi.

“Gee, does that person look like Brandi?” or simply “Does that resemble Brandi?

It seems surprising; I wouldn’t have recognized that as Brandi.

Following Brandi’s assertion that there was no tension between her and plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow, she maintained that his remark about her face being a ‘ticking time bomb’ did not indicate any discord.

Taking to X last week she wrote: ‘I have zero drama with @DrDubrow, I appreciate all the help I can get. We have been in touch and plan to talk,’ she noted, adding, ‘Thank you for all of the love.’

Brandi disclosed that she’s had all her facial fillers removed, and she consulted with top-notch physicians at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, in addition to every specialist recommended to her.

After being mentioned by the doctor from Botched during a quick chat with TMZ, the reality television personality responded with a social media post.

66-year-old Dubrow voiced his worries regarding Glanville’s alarming statement suggesting that her recent facial deformity could potentially stem from a ‘parasitic’ source.

The plastic surgeon strongly warned that Glanville’s situation was like a time bomb waiting to explode, advising her to seek medical assistance from her physicians immediately.

Dubrow stressed the importance of having a doctor provide a definitive diagnosis for her, so the underlying issue could be effectively addressed.

He expressed worry that Glanville might be experiencing either an infectious condition or a response to something she received an injection of, which her body may not recognize as friendly.

Dubrow further explained that Glanville shouldn’t be held responsible for uncertainty regarding her health issue, as the fault lies with her doctor for lacking a definitive diagnosis and treatment strategy.

Yet, he appeared quite confident that whatever was happening with her wasn’t a parasite and wasn’t related to anything she consumed.

Instead, he proposed that the issue might be traced back to something that entered her bloodstream and implanted a foreign entity within it.

Interestingly enough, Dubrow considered the possibility that Glanville’s self-diagnosis could indeed be more accurate than her doctors’, given his belief that she may need surgery.

He noted that she could have been infected with either mycobacteria or fungi, which could be ‘very difficult to treat.’

Dubrow appeared noticeably worried as he described Glanville’s state as akin to a rapidly counting down clock, for the harm it might inflict could escalate dramatically within a brief span.

He added that antibiotic treatments for mycobacteria or fungus could take six to 12 months.

For her to accurately identify the condition she’s experiencing, it might be crucial to secure a proper diagnosis, which could potentially involve collecting a skin sample for further examination.

Dubrow concluded the interview by offering the services of himself and his Botched costars.

Next week, the plastic surgeon plans to consult with Glanville for a detailed evaluation aimed at pinpointing the possible issue more accurately.

Additionally, he mentioned that they would discuss over the phone prior to their meeting, allowing him to understand her background and symptoms better, which in turn would help him decide the necessary actions she should take immediately.

During a recent chat with Entertainment Tonight, Brandi shared her feelings of exasperation about not yet receiving a diagnosis for the mystery organism beneath her facial skin that continues to baffle experts.

She has spent ‘over $70,000’ on temporary treatments in an attempt to fix the issue.

For the past year, she’s been taking medication and has largely isolated herself from social interactions. Instead of going out, she’s been investing a significant amount of her savings – approximately $70,000 – into figuring out the cause of her health issues. This is what she shared with ET.
