Miley Cyrus reacts to Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song and thanks Pamela Anderson
As a die-hard fan of Miley Cyrus and Pamela Anderson, I am absolutely thrilled to see these two incredible women recognized for their talents! Miley’s nomination for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes is well-deserved, and it’s heartwarming to see her gratitude towards her collaborators and Pamela. The fact that Pamela is graciously sharing this moment with them just makes it even more special.
Miley Cyrus is thrilled and feels deeply recognized after being nominated for a Golden Globe award in the category of Best Original Song, for her song “Beautiful That Way” from the movie The Last Showgirl.
32-year-old singer, known as Flowers, expressed gratitude on Instagram towards her collaborators and lead actress Pamela Anderson, acknowledging that they allowed them all to share a special moment together.
The former Hannah Montana star expressed gratitude for being nominated for ‘Best Original Song’ together with Andrew Wyatt and Lykke Li, my friends and collaborators, at both the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards.
‘Pamela is graciously sharing her moment with us. I am continuing to root for her, it’s so fun to watch her shine.’
‘Thank you Gia Coppola for inviting me to be a part of your gem “The Last Showgirl,”‘ she said.
The 82nd Golden Globe Awards are planned for January 5, 2025, taking place at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.

Responding to Miley’s warm sentiments, the ex-Playboy model expressed her affection by writing “I love you” and a heart symbol in the comment section.
All Golden Globe nominations were announced on Monday, November 9.
Among the contenders for Best Original Song are “Compress/Repress” from the album Challengers by Trent Reznor, as well as “El Mal” from the work of Emilia Perez, created by Clement Ducol.
Among other contenders, I find myself drawn to “Mi Camino” from the captivating work of Emilia Perez, penned by Clement Ducol; the enchanting “Kiss The Sky,” a creation of Delacey from The Wild Robot; and “Forbidden Road,” a masterpiece by the talented Robbie Williams.
In this version, we have a 57-year-old glamorous blonde named The Last Showgirl portraying the character of Shelly, who is a seasoned dancer and vocalist, plying her craft in the vibrant city of Las Vegas.
It showcases classic showgirl aesthetics while exploring themes like reinvention and self-discovery which blends well with Pamela’s iconic persona.
The Last Showgirl premiered back in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.
It hit theaters in the United States on Friday, December 13.
Besides Anderson, the cast also includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka, Billie Lourd, and Jason Schwartzman.
In August, Anderson openly discussed taking a step away from Hollywood and moving beyond her “sex symbol” persona. Furthermore, she likened her Playboy persona to a “cartoon character.
Pondering the freedom of not wearing makeup, she admitted, “That marked the start of my journey to let go of the self-image I’d long carried.
She asked, “Who is the cartoon character I made?” Laughing, she added, “That was enjoyable, but I’m no longer the same person.
The Baywatch star was also keen to challenge the idea of beauty and ‘this mask we put on’.
She insisted she ‘didn’t think anyone would even notice’ her ditching makeup, but the world has shown her a new way of viewing herself. Pamela added, ‘As soon as I took the mask off, the whole world opened up.’
Later on, the radiant woman revealed a relatable story about how not wearing lipstick shifted her viewpoint on what constitutes beauty.
She humorously mentioned that coincidentally finding herself at Paris Fashion Week led her to declare, “I won’t spend three hours in a makeup chair. I’m heading to the Louvre instead.
Reflecting upon it, I pondered, ‘Against whom am I vying for recognition?’ This woman hailing from the picturesque Vancouver Island seemed to have been effortlessly draped in those opulent garments.
I found myself reminiscing to my youthful days, donning a grand Vivienne Westwood hat, much like the freckled-faced child I once was,” I shared.
Now, Pamela is glad to have moved away from the ‘pneumatic kind of image’ people have of her.
