Season two Star Trek: Picard actor would happily revisit the Star Trek world

As a seasoned Trekkie with over two decades of stargazing under my belt, I can confidently say that the universe of Star Trek is as endless as the cosmos itself. The return of beloved characters is not unheard of, and Alison Pill’s express desire to reprise her role as Dr. Agnes Jurati Borg Queen only adds fuel to the speculation fire.

As a devoted fan, I must admit that since Dr. Agnes Jurati, played by Alison Pill, teamed up with the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard to thwart an invasion, we haven’t seen her in the Star Trek franchise. This unique Borg Queen marked the first time one collaborated with the Federation rather than attacking it. This momentous event unfolded at the end of season 2 of Picard.

During an interview with Screenrant about her character in Young Werther, she was questioned if she had a contract for Star Trek that could be activated when needed. She responded, “No, there’s no such contract,” but added, “I would be more than happy to return as Jurati Borg Queen whenever they ask.

Could there be a chance that the character of Jurati Borg Queen could reappear? Given the nature of Star Trek, which is all about exploring possibilities, I can affirmatively say yes. Even characters like Harry Kim from Voyager were brought back in shows like Lower Decks, despite a significant time gap since his last appearance. In contrast, Dr. Jurati’s absence from Star Trek has been relatively recent.

I think as long as Star Trek is on the air, the Borg will be an enemy to contend with. I don’t believe for once second these foes were finally defeated for good in the Picard finale. In fact, I won’t be surprised if we see a semblance of them pop up in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds much like they did in Star Trek: Enterprisse. If they do come back, perhaps, at one point, it will be in the form of the quasi-friendly Borg Queen that joined with Dr. Jurati.
