Inside Celeste Barber’s VERY chic bachelorette pad following her split from her husband Api Robin

Celeste Barber is embracing single life, complete with a new bachelorette pad. 

The Australian comedian, age 43, recently featured her stylish and upscale home on the Gold Coast in the latest issue of Marie Claire Australia magazine.

Following her divorce from Api Robin, Barber has purchased a contemporary home and is now living there on her own.

Interior designer Dominee Gessner transformed the apartment into a cozy and relaxing space, using warm, inviting colors and autumnal touches, according to Marie Claire.

The design for the house takes inspiration from luxury hotels like Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles and Madame Reve in Paris, aiming for a similarly stylish and upscale feel.

As well as having lots of natural sunlight, the space is mood-lit by bright pink pendant lights. 

‘I need some mood lighting – it’s my ADHD,’ Celeste explained to the publication. 

The home has a cool, vintage Hollywood feel with blue walls, a mustard-colored couch, and furniture from the 1970s. It’s also designed with a performer in mind, featuring two dishwashers – one for glasses and one for dishes.

The stoneware in Celeste’s kitchen is inspired by a vulva, she admits. 

‘I put in a request to get the pinkest possible part of the stone that I could,’ she said. 

The way the pipe connects above the oven resembles a vulva, and I enjoy playfully pointing this out to my teenage sons during breakfast.

The bathroom has a sleek, modern look – almost like a stylish laboratory – and is brightly lit because Barber often films videos there for social media.

‘I’m 43 and we all need good lighting,’ she explained.  

Celeste is rebuilding her life after her split from her ‘hot husband’ Api. 

I was so shocked to hear that Api and their spouse have decided to divorce after twenty years of marriage, and to learn it just before Valentine’s Day – it’s incredibly sad news.

An Instagram post, captioned ‘Heavy hearts,’ began by saying that the last few months have been very difficult and sad for both of us.

‘After much reflection, the decision has been made to separate.

We still care for each other and have a lot of respect, but we’ve realized we’re both at a point where our needs and desires are diverging, and we can’t continue as things are.

Our children’s wellbeing is our main concern. We appreciate your understanding and request privacy during this difficult time.

Although many were surprised by their divorce, a closer look at their past statements and social media activity shows hints of problems had been brewing for some time. They had noticeably stopped appearing on each other’s social media pages before announcing their separation.

The couple has two sons, Lou and Buddy Robin. Api also has two daughters from a previous relationship.
