Vogue Williams shares a glimpse of her ‘dream night in’ as she shows support for Sophie Habboo and Jaime Laing’s new show after wedding snub drama

On Friday, Vogue Williams posted on Instagram about a cozy night in, showing her support for the new show starring Sophie Habboo and Jaime Laing.

As a huge fan, I’ve been completely hooked on ‘Raising Chelsea’! It’s a three-part series that follows some of the original ‘Made In Chelsea’ cast as they navigate the ups and downs of becoming parents – it’s so real and relatable to watch them adjust to this new chapter.

The documentary follows Sophie, 31, and Jamie, 37, from the beginning of her pregnancy, through the birth of their son, Ziggy, and into his first few months of life – he’s almost four months old now.

It seems Vogue Williams has confirmed that she, Spencer Matthews, Sophie Habboo, and Jamie Jewitt have patched things up. This comes after Jamie didn’t invite Spencer to his wedding last year.

Jamie McVitie, the heir to the McVitie’s biscuit fortune, recently married Sophie Habboo, who also appears on the reality show Made In Chelsea, in a private ceremony at Chelsea Registry Office. However, Sophie’s co-stars Spencer Matthews, Vogue Williams, and their three children weren’t able to attend.

Okay, I nearly lost it when I saw this! Everything seems AMAZING now – Sophie actually REPOSTED Vogue’s story about the new show! Vogue wrote ‘dream night in, let’s go’ and she shared it! It’s like…a sign. A beautiful, perfect sign. I’m officially losing my mind with happiness right now. It feels like everything is finally right in the world!

According to Vogue, he seemed incredibly distressed, and fans reacted angrily, accusing him of skipping the wedding for a vacation. However, he wasn’t even invited to the event.

After things cooled down, the two couples had an open and honest talk about the misunderstanding on Jamie and Sophie’s podcast, where the groom admitted he made a mistake.

Vogue shared that, after years of knowing Spencer, she’d never witnessed him so distressed about the misunderstanding and the subsequent backlash he received.

‘He was very upset, I have to be honest, I’ve never seen him like that,’ Vogue said.

He was clearly bothered by something, and it became obvious he’d put a lot of thought into it because of the personal details involved. I realized he’d really considered this deeply.

Jamie admitted making a mistake, explaining that things got overlooked during the busy process of having both their wedding and a legal ceremony in the UK. He simply said, ‘I messed up.’

With all the chaos of coordinating everything, I assumed Spencer and Vogue weren’t available.

Spencer was understandably annoyed, so I reached out to Vogue hoping she’d back me up. Her response – “To be honest, Jamie, it’s not good” – really frustrated me.

Oh, the wedding celebrations just kept unfolding! It was a bit of a scramble when Vogue unfortunately couldn’t make it to Jamie and Sophie’s second ceremony in Seville. Turns out, her manager accidentally double-booked her with a hosting gig that same day – a total mix-up! It was disappointing, of course, but these things happen, even when you’re planning something as special as a destination wedding.

The first scene of Raising Chelsea shows the couple talking about trying for a baby and how long it might take to get pregnant.

Around four months after discussing trying for a baby, Sophie shares the news with a positive pregnancy test in Spring 2025.

Someone set up a camera to film Jamie’s reaction as his partner entered the room and excitedly shared the news: ‘I’m pregnant! The test showed a very faint line.’

“What? No, you’re not…” Jamie exclaimed, shocked. Sophie buried her face in her hands and began to cry. “I don’t get it, I don’t understand!” Jamie repeated, confused.

Jamie sank onto the sofa, fighting back tears, and asked, “Wait a minute, are you kidding me? Is this a joke?”

Jamie then leans in to embrace his wife, telling her: ‘Oh my god, this is nuts.’

He admitted to the cameras that he was completely stunned, saying he hadn’t expected that to happen. Sophie playfully responded, ‘I’m not sure why you’re so surprised, we were definitely making an effort!’

Jamie says she expected the process to be lengthy. She describes the experience as an overwhelming blend of emotions – anxiety, fear, worry, stress, but also relief, happiness, joy, and love, all happening at once.

Jamie shared that telling their family and friends was a truly wonderful experience, and they showed videos of those special moments.
