First trailer for Daisy Ridley’s new British action movie Cleaner

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the trailer for Sky Original movie “Cleaner” has piqued my interest in a way that only few action-thrillers have managed to do. Daisy Ridley’s portrayal as an ex-soldier-turned-window cleaner who finds herself in the midst of a high-stakes hostage situation is nothing short of exhilarating, and I can’t wait to see how she navigates this perilous predicament.

In a brand-new Sky Original film titled “Cleaner”, Daisy Ridley takes on a gritty, action-packed role reminiscent of Bruce Willis in “Die Hard”. We’ve just received the initial trailer for this exciting British action-thriller.

In the film, Ridley plays a former soldier now working as a window cleaner, who finds himself dangling precariously from a 50-story London skyscraper after a gang of unlawful activists seizes control of an energy firm’s yearly gala.

In this situation, it falls upon her to rescue the hostages, among whom is her younger sibling. When the group is seized by an extremist prepared to massacre everyone inside the building as a means of delivering his violent message.

The film is helmed by Martin Campbell, who was behind the direction of James Bond’s first appearances in both “GoldenEye” and “Casino Royale.” Additionally, it features performances from actors Taz Skylar and Clive Owen.

Ridley expressed her hope that people would eagerly step into the theater for her latest film, which offers thrilling action sequences and is deeply centered around its characters.

Actress Daisy Ridley is set for a reunion with director Martin Campbell on the upcoming action-thriller titled “Dedication.

The film features actress Major Billie Jean Parker portraying a highly-decorated Marine Corps commander. After being dismissed from duty following a mission that resulted in unintended civilian casualties, she’s summoned to action once again as a dedication ceremony she’s attending is targeted by anarchists.

Cleaner is released on Sky Cinema in April 2025.
