Check out stunning fan-made poster for a Game of Thrones spinoff about Arya Stark

As a devoted fan who has spent countless hours immersed in the intricate world of Westeros, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and nostalgia when considering the potential for an Arya Stark spinoff. The thought of continuing her journey beyond the edge of the known world is tantalizing, much like the allure of a dragon’s hoard to a commoner.

Prior to the conclusion of Game of Thrones in 2019, HBO had already been brainstorming spinoff concepts. One of these ideas, House of the Dragon, recently completed its second season, and another prequel series titled A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is set for release in 2025. Initially, HBO was developing a sequel series focusing on Jon Snow (Kit Harington), but they struggled to find the right perspective, so that project has been temporarily shelved, at least as of now.

Is it possible that we’ll see a sequel to “Game of Thrones”? It’s tough to predict, but there have been many ideas floating around. One intriguing concept is a series centered around Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), who set sail westward at the end of the original show, venturing into the unknown. There are certainly many adventures and self-discoveries that could unfold for her in this scenario. What new lands will she discover? What secrets about herself, the world, and its mysteries might she uncover?

In a hint at possible collaboration, George R.R. Martin, the mastermind behind “Game of Thrones,” has suggested a get-together with Maisie Williams. While it’s unclear if they were brainstorming an Arya Stark spinoff, enthusiastic fans have taken the lead and created their own poster designs. Take a look at this concept for “Arya Stark: Beyond the Known World“.

It’s clear that this poster is promoting a show titled “Arya Stark: West of the World,” but it’s not scheduled to air on Max in May. If it did, I’d likely be interested. The image shows Arya Stark standing on the brink of an unknown continent, her cloak billowing in the morning mist. What lies beyond? What secrets might she uncover? Tune in Sundays on HBO to find out.

In theory, at some point in the future. For now, the debut of the first season of “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” adapted from George R.R. Martin’s “Tales of Dunk and Egg” novellas, is slated for HBO’s schedule during the latter part of next year. Meanwhile, we can anticipate that “House of the Dragon” will air its third season in 2026.
