At the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Wednesday, Bo Derek, alongside her husband John Corbett, presented an astonishing appearance.
As a devoted admirer, I must say, at the ripe age of 68, she left me breathless in a stylish all-black outfit. The blazer, complete with sleek satin lapels, was paired perfectly with its counterpart trousers.
She paired her ensemble with a simple top, some leather boots, and added a bold silver necklace as an accent.
At The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Bo walked the red carpet prior to the yearly Kirk Douglas Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinema ceremony. There, Bo was seen beaming next to John.
63-year-old actress best known from Sex and the City donned a sharp navy blue suit paired with a khaki undershirt and elegant footwear.
The couple, who married in 2020 after 20 years together, looked as loved up as ever at the event.
Bo openly admits that she never thought she’d embark on another romantic journey since her partner of 22 years, John Derek, passed away due to heart failure in 1998.
She ended finding love again with Corbett in 2002, and the pair have been together ever since.
The talent agent of Corbett arranged a setup, as he informed him that he had no companion for the Oscars party.
At first, the actor confessed that he felt extremely nervous when encountering Bo, a man who was once undeniably one of the most attractive stars in Tinseltown.
But once they got to know one another, she said ‘it was just an attraction, a comfort.’
The duo opted to keep their wedding in 2020 intimate as they both value their privacy.
He mentioned that they are private individuals who didn’t broadcast the news, but everyone close to them was aware of it. Until recently, neither of them had spoken about it in public because there hadn’t been a suitable opportunity. However, now he felt comfortable enough to share with his friend (the interviewer on The Talk in 2021) and by extension, America or the whole world.
He stated: “Following twenty years, we chose to wed. We didn’t wish for 2020 to be the event everyone recalls with disdain. Instead, we reasoned, ‘Why not make one positive aspect emerge from it?’
Previously, Bo shared with Fox News that Corbett always makes her laugh heartily and that he is brimming with joy.
John, most recognized for playing Aidan Shaw on Sex and the City, now appears regularly in the HBO sequel series, And Just Like That… – a revival of the original show.
