Fnatic signs crashies to VALORANT roster as Leo is still recovering
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the addition of Austin “crashies” Roberts to Fnatic’s VALORANT roster for 2025 is an exciting development!
Crashies will be one of Fnatic’s starting players in 2025.
On December 11th, it was revealed that Fnatic has brought on Austin “crashies” Roberts as a member of their VALORANT team for the 2025 VALORANT Champions Tour.
As a diehard fan of Fnatic, I must admit that the arrival of Crashies has left me utterly amazed! This unexpected move is stirring up quite a buzz within the broader VALORANT scene too.
It was anticipated that Leo “Leo” Jannesson would recuperate from his health problems and rejoin Fnatic’s playing roster, as wished by the community. However, per Fnatic team director Colin “CoJo” Johnson, the Swede is yet to take a break away from the game servers.
CoJo mentioned that Leo remains part of the team, however, it’s quite challenging to foresee when he might rejoin us presently. Consequently, Crashie has been assigned to take over Leo’s responsibilities temporarily, until he is fit and prepared to return.
In a new twist for this talented 26-year-old player, known as Crashies, he will be competing in the EMEA region for the first time in his gaming career. Notably, he was previously a key member of the winning Envy/OpTic Gaming team that included Pujan “FNS” Mehta and Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker. More recently, Crashies honed his skills with NRG.
Who will be in Fnatic’s VALORANT lineup in 2025?
It is highly probable that Fnatic will include crashies, Jake Booster Howlett, Emir Alfajer Beder, Timofey Chronicle Khromov, and Kajetan kaajak Haremski on their team roster for the year 2025.
In October, the organization officially brought on board both kajak and the rising star Stefan “Sayonara” Mitcu, following Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev’s departure to Vitality.
Instead, due to Sayonara being only 16 years old, it’s Kaajak who will take part in the starting lineup together with Boaster, Alfajer, Chronicle, and Crashies.
CoJo anticipates that his presence will significantly influence the Fnatic team due to his “seasoned guidance and tactical prowess,” which he plans to bring with him.
On this coming Saturday, the 14th of December, it is likely that Crashies will first appear representing Fnatic, going up against ZETA DIVISION in the Riot Games ONE PRO INVITATIONAL tournament held in Yokohama, Japan.
