AEW Winter Is Coming Predictions For Dec 11, 2024: Adam Cole Will Expose MJF

As a lifelong wrestling enthusiast who’s seen it all – from the grandeur of WWE to the grit of independent circuits, I can confidently say that AEW Winter is Coming 2024 promises an electrifying night of action-packed matches!

2024’s AEW Winter is Coming event takes place this coming Wednesday, broadcast live on TBS, at Kansas City, Missouri’s T-Mobile Center. AEW has confirmed six exhilarating matches for this occasion, including the Continental Classic Round Robin Tournament bouts and a significant World Title Match between Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa, who stunned everyone at AEW Full Gear by betraying each other. As we move forward, it’s time to reveal the much-anticipated Winter is Coming 2024 Predictions, where Adam Cole will unmask MJF on the path to AEW Worlds End 2024.

Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’ Reilly [Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal]

At AEW Worlds End, Adam Cole is set to outdo Kyle O’Reilly to get a chance to face off against MJF, as it marks a full year since the revelation that Adam Cole was the Devil who thwarted MJF from retaining his AEW World Title. This significant event transpired at Worlds End in December 2023, making it only fitting for Adam Cole and MJF to settle their dispute at the pay-per-view they both made notorious with that fateful moment. Roderick Strong had no place challenging MJF at Full Gear, while Kyle O’Reilly has no business facing off against MJF at Worlds End. It is high time to bypass the gradual escalation of their feud.

Jamie Hayer vs. Willow Nightingale [International Women’s Cup]

Jamie Hayter is set to advance due to her previous credibility being undermined when AEW scheduled her comeback from injury during the pre-show of AEW All In and handled her as if she wasn’t a former AEW World Champion. To rebuild her momentum, Hayter needs to win this qualifying match. It will be intriguing to see whether her narrative with fellow ex-AEW World Titleholder, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D., continues. However, it appears that AEW has abandoned the storylines they carefully crafted in the women’s division, which is unfortunate given their questionable handling of this division so far.

Ricochet vs. Brody King [AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match]

In this upcoming match, Ricochet is expected to emerge victorious over Brody King. This victory would serve as a rebound following his recent losses in major events, including the AEW International Championship fight against Konsuke Takeshita at Full Gear and other pay-per-view bouts since joining AEW. Lately, Ricochet has stirred controversy with some of his comments, such as claiming that AEW wouldn’t exist without him. While it is true that Ricochet holds significant influence in professional wrestling, attributing the entire existence of AEW to himself seems unusual. However, if he wins this match, it could help him regain a spot in the title contention where many believe he rightfully belongs.

Will Ospreay vs. Claudio Castagnoli [AEW Continental Classic Gold League Match]

In this upcoming match between Will Ospreay and Claudio Castagnoli, it’s expected that Ospreay will emerge victorious due to his need for a comeback after losing the AEW International Title in a triple threat with Ricochet at WrestleDream and against Kyle Fletcher at Full Gear. Unlike Ospreay, Claudio Castagnoli is already a Trios Champion, so he doesn’t require the win as much. However, given that Ospreay is positioned for greatness in AEW and could become a key player in its future, this match seems primed to be an exceptional display of their exceptional in-ring abilities and complementary styles. In essence, it appears destined to outshine other matches on the card.

Mariah May (c) vs. Mina Shirakawa [AEW World Title]

Mariah May will keep her AEW World Title against Mina Shirakawa as it’s premature to conclude her reign, and Mina lacks a compelling narrative to overthrow May. Despite Timeless Toni Storm’s announced “retirement,” it might be a trick to surprise fans, as she still harbors unfinished business with her protegee, Mariah May. It seems more probable that Toni’s actual rivals to dethrone May would either be Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. or Mercedes Mone, the current TBS Champion who remains undefeated in singles competition and could potentially hold both belts by the time AEW reaches 2025.

Death Riders vs. Jay White & Orange Cassidy [Tag Match]

The Death Riders are expected to win against Jay White and Orange Cassidy due to potential external interference from Claudio and Wheeler Yuta, which could help Jon Moxley, the AEW World Champion, and PAC, the Trios Champion, secure their victory in this match. Shane McMahon’s appearance as Santa, given his recent teases, is also a possibility. However, it’s Darby Allin who poses the most significant threat to Moxley’s World Title. Their rivalry started at Full Gear when Allin crashed into BCC with a car, and since then, they have been engaged in a long-term storyline. Previously, Moxley had stolen Allin’s AEW World Title shot while Bryan Danielson was the champion.
