In a chat with Entertainment Tonight a month ago, Ringo Starr shared that Barry Keoghan has been learning to play drums. According to Starr, he believes that Keoghan is depicting him in the films.

Previously, Mescal was questioned regarding his role within the project when he appeared on The Jimmy Fallon Show. Although evasive in his responses, the lead actor from Normal People expressed enthusiasm, stating it would be a remarkable opportunity to be associated with such a tale.

He shared with the late-night host that having Sam Mendes as the director (for this project) would essentially be living his dream. However, he declined to verify the rumors about Paul McCartney at that moment.

In addition to Mescal, there have been whispers about Joseph Quinn being involved in the Beatles project; however, these reports have yet to be verified.
