On his tour, the actor boasts a fantastic roster of special guests, promising shows featuring St. Lunatics, Chingy, and Jermaine Dupri for music enthusiasts.

On Tuesday, Nelly (whose real name is Cornell Iral Haynes Jr.) shared on his social media platforms that he’ll be embarking on a global tour titled “Where Da Party At Tour.

Last month, during his 50th birthday celebration in Las Vegas with his wife Ashanti, Nelly hinted at the possibility of a future Las Vegas residency.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the St. Louis-born individual and his 44-year-old spouse were queried regarding the prospect of securing a residence.

It appears that the newlywed couple, who got married in December and had their first baby in July, were discussing a residency opportunity not too long before.

Nelly chuckled, “It’s interesting that you bring that up. We had discussions not so long ago about exactly that topic.” (Nelly teased)

He remarked, “I won’t go into great detail any further, but I hope things continue as planned. You see, we both share a strong affection for Las Vegas – though our reasons for loving it might differ significantly.

Instead of adding themselves to an expanding roster of celebrities who have established residencies (like Billy Joel, Donny Osmond, Usher, Babyface, Shania Twain, Pitbull, among others), the couple will become part of this group by securing their own performances.

Nelly and Ashanti have a long history that dates back to around two decades ago, since they began dating in 2003 following their encounter at the Grammys.

For ten years they were a couple, then parted ways in 2013, only to reunite in 2023. Surprisingly, they secretly got married shortly after Christmas last year.

In July, they became parents for the first time, welcoming their son Kareem Kenkaide. More recently, Nelly has shared insights about Ashanti’s role as a mother.

He remarked, “She’s an incredible mother. It’s heartwarming to see someone pour so much love and devotion into another person, and be ready to go the extra mile.

You might find it more desirable to have a parent who oversteps boundaries occasionally, rather than one who doesn’t show enough involvement.
