Melvin Odoom gives fans a taste of the ‘absolute scenes’ at I’m A Celebrity’s boozy wrap party – after Coleen Rooney’s dad Tony’s iconic roly poly
As a long-time fan of reality TV shows, I must say that watching the final episode of I’m A Celebrity was quite an emotional rollercoaster for me. Having followed the show for years and knowing how much hard work goes into it, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration for all the contestants who braved the Australian jungle to raise money for charity.
Melvin Odoom shared glimpses with his followers of the lively, boisterous moments from the I’m A Celebrity farewell bash.
On a seemingly exhilarating evening, the ex-contestants of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! commemorated their jungle adventure elegantly – as Coleen Rooney’s father rolled across the dance floor in a spontaneous somersault.
Taking to Instagram after the shindig, radio DJ Melvin, 44, shared his take on the night.
Melvin captured a clip of his fellow stars belting out Whitney Houston’s classic, I Have Nothing.
The video captured GK Barry passionately singing, followed by a shot of Colleen dancing with Danny Jones’s wife, Georgia (the Queen of the Jungle), in the frame.
Additionally, in the video, Oti Mabuse was highlighted as she sang straight into the camera, while Melvin’s voice could be heard singing the incorrect portion of the tune.
In the meantime, Dean McCullough switched on his camera flash and moved closer for a more intimate shot while recording his fellow campers performing their dance routine.
Additionally, GK recorded an unforgettable evening’s festivities, posting videos that featured runner-up Coleen Rooney savoring a glass of wine and jovially dancing with Danny’s spouse, Georgia.
Beyond the campers having fun, even Colleen’s father, Tony, joined in the excitement, rolling around on the dance floor in a playful manner.
He was cheered on by the crowd, which also included Maura Higgins and Dean McCullough.
Following her turn, it was Oti Mabuse’s moment on the dance floor. She shared a dance with an enigmatic partner as the other campmates looked on and applauded enthusiastically.
After wrapping up the taping of the Coming Out Show, scheduled to air on ITV at 9 pm this Friday, the participants were feeling quite relaxed and ready to unwind.
The voting data from I’m A Celebrity shows that the finale was more competitive than it initially seemed, suggesting that Danny Jones did not win by an overwhelming margin in the contest for “King of the Jungle.
In the thrilling finale on Sunday night, the lead vocalist of McFly, aged 38, emerged victorious by garnering more public votes than Coleen, also 38 years old. Meanwhile, Reverend Richard Coles, at the age of 62, finished in third place.
The win received mixed reactions with some fans delighted at the results and other devastated for their favourite Coleen.
On Monday mornings, ITV shared an analysis of the public’s voting for the last three contenders, revealing a tighter race than many viewers might have assumed.
In the end, Danny was the favorite among the majority, receiving approximately 41.36% of the public’s votes to continue his journey.
Colleen wasn’t too far from the lead, holding about 33.47 percent of the total, which meant that Reverend Richard was left with only 25.18 percent, positioning him third and marking his departure from the camp.
In the end, both Danny and Coleen were very competitive, but the final decision will be made at a later time. The difference was small, with Danny receiving 55.21% of the votes, and Coleen receiving 44.79%. It was a tight race between them.
Following the declaration that someone other than I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! fans, including Danny’s bandmate and once-crowned King of the Jungle Dougie Poynter, expressed their disappointment as Coleen failed to secure the victory.
2011’s “King of the Jungle”, Dougie, expressed his disappointment to his Instagram audience, acknowledging that the other contestant seemed more worthy of the win.
Instead of saying “He quipped: ‘I’m actually really disappointed because I was voting for Coleen. Erm, whatever. I think she was the more deserving winning,'” you could write it as follows:
He later insisted: ‘I’m joking, of course I’m f****** stoked.’
At the heartfelt finale, Danny burst into tears upon seeing his wife Georgia – mother of their six-year-old son Cooper – on a bridge for a moving reunion following a three-week absence.
Despite being extremely excited about her campmate Danny, Colleen felt disappointed when she narrowly missed the chance to be crowned “Queen of the Jungle.
Prior to Ant and Dec announcing the victor, following a staggering 10 million votes, it was evident that Coleen aspired to claim the title and bask in the limelight as the winner within the Rooney family circle.
When asked about the significance of winning, Coleen expressed that it would be her turn to make her sons feel as proud of her as they’ve always been of their father.
Following his victory, Danny expressed his gratitude by saying, “From the depths of my heart, I thank you. I poured everything I had into that performance, and it’s an incredible sensation to be admired. I truly value your appreciation.
