Rebecca Minkoff makes shock comment about disgraced Danny Masterson

48-year-old Masterson is presently incarcerated, having been found guilty of rape in 2023 and sentenced to serve a term of 30 years or more.

In January 2021, Masterson pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
In May 2023, Masterson was convicted of two charges related to rape, but a decision on the third charge of rape could not be reached due to a deadlock among the jurors.
In September 2023, he was ordered to serve 30 years to life in prison.
Previously this year, Masterson’s request for bail was declined until his appeal hearing in January, as concerns arose about the possibility of him fleeing.
Judge Charlaine Olmedo expressed that it is highly probable the defendant will stay in custody for many years, potentially even for the remainder of their life, should the conviction and sentencing stand during the appeal process.
Earlier, Minkoff revealed that she had been part of the Church of Scientology for much of her lifespan, and this is where she encountered the currently imprisoned actor in the past.
In an unique turn of events, the designer, who practices Judaism but also follows Scientology, becomes the first Real Housewife across all franchises to publicly acknowledge her Scientology beliefs.
She even spoke about her faith on season 15 of the Bravo reality show.
In a 2021 profile in The New York Times, she spoke about her faith.
‘I’m totally open. But it’s not my job to proselytize.’
The television personality known for reality shows explained that her unique blend of Jewish and Scientology faiths sometimes leaves people puzzled due to their differences.
She mentioned that often, when someone hears the term “religion,” it can cause misunderstanding because it may seem like she prays to L. Ron Hubbard, but that’s not exactly what she meant by her use of the word.
About Scientology, she said there is ‘horrific misinformation.’

The advice received a mixed response from the women noted that that response often ‘doesn’t work.’
Minkoff then told them: ‘I just tell people, “If you’re curious, read a book.” That’s it.’
