In the papers scrutinized by Dailymail.com, an individual referred to as Jane Doe alleges that she was victimized at a post-award gathering, held on September 7, 2000, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, and claims this assault occurred afterwards.

The lawsuit had initially been filed in New York’s Southern District this past October against Combs, with a refiling on Sunday that identified the rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter.

On Sunday, Jay-Z responded to DailyMail.com with a detailed statement, refuting the allegations presented in the recently amended lawsuit.

Over the past few years, she has moved more towards the limelight that her renowned parents hold, sharing a stage with her mother during her tour last year. Her initial performance alongside her mother occurred on May 26, 2023, as they danced together onstage to Beyoncé’s My Power/Black Parade at France’s Stade De France.

During an interview with GQ last September, Beyoncé shared that her daughter, Blue Ivy, put in a lot of effort to earn her place on stage during the tour, demonstrating that she was worthy.

In response to the allegations, Jay-Z stated that his legal representative was presented with an extortion attempt, referred to as a threatening letter, by someone identifying themselves as attorney Tony Buzbee.

‘He had figured out the essence of these accusations, and the prospect of public scrutiny would typically push me towards a settlement. But instead, it sparked a desire within me to expose you as a fraud in an extremely public manner. Therefore, I am absolutely not going to give you even a single penny!’

“Given the horrific nature of these accusations, I strongly urge you to submit a criminal report instead of a civil one. Anyone who could perpetrate such a crime against a child deserves severe punishment, wouldn’t you say?

“If their claims are true, these individuals are indeed entitled to genuine justice. However, from my investigations, this attorney appears to frequently employ dramatic tactics, which is concerning.

Known for his iconic rap tunes such as “Empire State of Mind,” “Big Pimpin’,” and “Can I Get A…”, this notable figure directly targeted Buzbee, a legal adversary who has initiated over one hundred lawsuits against Combs.

In response, Jay-Z stated, “I must admit, I’m puzzled as to how you’ve become so unworthy, Mr. Buzbee. However, let me assure you, I’ve encountered your sort numerous times before. I stand ready to handle individuals like yourself. It’s said that Marines embody valor, yet you lack both honor and respect.

‘My heart and support goes out to true victims in the world, who have to watch how their life story is dressed in costume for profitability by this ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.’

In my perspective, as someone who values authenticity and growth, I wholeheartedly agree with Jay-Z when he points out Buzbee’s misstep. By lumping all celebrities together without considering individual journeys, Buzbee seems to overlook the unique stories that define us – like mine, which began in the vibrant streets of New York City and led me to where I am today.

He stated, “I’m not an inhabitant of your realm; rather, I hail from the Brooklyn projects and have grown up to be a man. We aren’t accustomed to such games.

Our principles are extremely firm and we value them deeply. We prioritize the welfare of children, whereas it appears your actions revolve around using others solely for self-advantage.

Jay-Z concluded by stating, “Just your circle of conspiracy theorists and those peddling false physics would find your preposterous accusations against me believable – if not for their potential harm to children, they’d be downright hilarious. I can’t wait to demonstrate my uniqueness to you.

Dailymail.com has reached out to Tony Buzbee, the lawyer representing Jay-Z’s accuser, for comment.

On Sunday evening, Buzbee clarified to TMZ that Mr. Carter had earlier denied being the person who filed a lawsuit against him and his firm. Remarkably, he submitted his baseless case using an alias instead.

In his latest declaration, there’s something he didn’t explicitly mention: A demand letter was sent by my attorney, representing an alleged victim, to his legal team. However, this victim never asked for a single penny from him. On the contrary, her sole intention was to pursue a private, confidential mediation process.

According to Buzbee’s legal claim, the alleged incident happened at a house gathering that took place after the VMAs.

According to the lawsuit, it was stated that the accuser harbored a desire to go to the VMAs, which seemed like an item on her wish list. She also thought she could manage to get in.

At the beginning of the show, the accuser claimed that she approached various drivers of limousines who were parked nearby and tried to convince them to let her in either the main event or the parties held afterwards.

In a court case, I was accused of hearing a limousine driver – allegedly employed by Diddy – mention that he preferred younger women, and that I matched the description of what Diddy supposedly sought.

The driver mentioned that he’d come back later to collect the accuser, following his drop-off of Combs at the party venue.

The person making the accusation stated that after a 20-minute trip, she reached what she thought was a big white house with a U-shaped driveway enclosed by gates. She was instructed to sign her name on a document which she now suspects was a confidentiality agreement, as she didn’t receive a copy of it.

Upon reaching home, the accuser spotted several well-known personalities and tried to move among the crowd, engaging in conversations with others.

Inside, she observed extensive drug use, which included marijuana and cocaine, according to her statement in the lawsuit.

The person being accused stated that she consumed a drink with a reddish-yellow color, reminiscent of orange and cranberry juices but also having a distinctly bitter taste. Shortly after drinking it, she felt dizzy and weak, causing her to require lying down.

In legal papers, the accuser stated that she found herself in what seemed like an unoccupied bedroom. Later on, Combs, Jay-Z, and a well-known woman identified as “Celebrity B” walked into the same room.

In my professional opinion, I assertively moved towards the individual in question, my gaze intense, and upon reaching them, I unexpectedly took hold of them, exclaiming, “It’s time for some fun and festivities!” This is how a more conversational paraphrase might read.

In the court case, the plaintiff claimed that Combs shoved her forcefully against a wall, causing her to stumble, followed by picking her up and pushing her onto the bed.

In the account given by the accuser, it was stated that Jay-Z gradually removed her clothes while she became increasingly confused, and then pinned her down. Subsequently, she claimed that he performed a sexual act against her consent, all the while Combs and Celebrity B reportedly looked on.

Following Jay-Z’s performance, he moved away towards the wall. Then, Combs approached and allegedly sexually assaulted the plaintiff in a manner involving vaginal penetration, while Carter and Celebrity B looked on.

As per the legal documents, during the 2000 incident, another famous individual chose not to intervene while Combs and Carter alternated in attacking the minor. Numerous people were present at the subsequent party, yet none took action to prevent the assault.

“In numerous situations similar to those detailed here, Carter has been alongside Combs. It is essential that both individuals involved are held accountable for their actions.” (This sentence maintains the original meaning while using simpler and more conversational language.)

According to legal records, the accuser claimed that Combs allegedly attempted to make her perform oral sex. In response, she stood up swiftly and struck him, landing a blow on his neck. This action reportedly stopped his advance.

The person making the accusation stated that she managed to leave the premises and follow the path driven by the limousine, eventually reaching a gas station she had spotted on her journey to the party.

In my own experience, after a kindly shop assistant perceived my distress and granted me access to their phone, I reached out to my dad, confessed my fib about my location, and humbly requested he come get me – something he graciously obliged.

According to the lawsuit, it is stated that the accuser has been struggling with profound depression, an issue that significantly impacts all areas of her life, as per the legal document.

According to the lawsuit, she has post-traumatic stress disorder and a seizure condition that is triggered by stress and trauma.

The person being accused often struggles with keeping healthy connections and generally prefers to keep a low profile, avoiding much social interaction.

In this legal case, the plaintiff (the accuser) is petitioning the court for undetermined compensation, as the lawsuit was initiated based on New York state’s legislation known as the Victims of Gender-Based Violence Protection Act.

In the papers filed on Sunday, Buzbee identified a public individual for the first time beyond Combs, as apart from him, in the legal documentation.

In a previous court filing, I was identified as ‘Celebrity A’, but more recently, my name has been revealed as Jay-Z. As for my residences, I am fortunate to call both New York City and Los Angeles home.

In a summary of his remarks, the attorney stated, ‘Ever since I sent that letter on her behalf, Mr. Carter has not only sued me but also attempted to intimidate and harass both me and this plaintiff. Contrary to his intentions, his actions have only served to strengthen her spirit. I’m incredibly proud of her resilience.’

It seems that the event occurred around the time when Jay-Z and Beyoncé started deepening their relationship.

18-year-old Beyoncé recounted to Seventeen magazine that her first encounter with Jay-Z took place between September 1999 and August 2000, as People Magazine had earlier reported.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey on her network (OWN) back in 2013, Beyoncé shared that she and her partner had been friends for a year and a half prior to starting their romantic relationship.

‘We were on the phone for a year and a half, and that foundation is so important for a relationship. Just to have someone who you just like is so important, and someone [who] is honest.’
