As a die-hard Reacher fan who has been following this gripping series since its inception, I am beyond excited about the upcoming season 3! The news of its renewal during filming and the swift announcement of its release date have made the wait feel like an eternity – but a sweet, suspenseful one at that.

Among the shows we eagerly anticipate coming back, none excites us more than “Reacher”. During the run of its second season on Amazon Prime Video, we learned that a third season was in the works. Now, we’ve got a confirmed release date for “Reacher” season 3.

It’s fantastic that the revival of Reacher provided updates during filming, reducing the anticipation for the new season. We anticipated having fresh episodes by spring 2025; however, it looks like we’ll be enjoying them sooner than expected!

Reacher season 3 is coming in February 2025

Amazon’s Prime Video has unveiled a sneak peek of the upcoming episodes, complete with a scheduled release date! Mark your calendars for February 20th – that’s the day you’ll be able to watch the initial three episodes streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Absolutely, similar to the previous two seasons, the third season of Reacher will be released in weekly installments. Following the debut of the initial three episodes, we’ll receive a new episode every week thereafter. This approach seems more beneficial for the show as it keeps audience interest sustained over a longer period compared to a binge-watching experience.

The final episode of Season 3 will be broadcast on Thursday, the 27th of March. Rest assured, this isn’t the end of our journey together, as we already have confirmation for Season 4 of ‘Reacher’.

What to expect in Reacher season 3

In the third season, the storyline draws inspiration from the novel named “Persuasion”. The preview offers a glimpse into what’s to come, hinting that Reacher may encounter his most formidable adversary yet – a man significantly larger than him, which is quite remarkable given that Alan Ritchson towers above many actors. This elevates the suspense level beyond what it would be if an average-sized actor were cast in this role.

In the upcoming season, Reacher delves deep into a sprawling criminal network, with the intention of saving a DEA informant as time ticks away. As he infiltrates this operation, he discovers that there’s more to the story than initially meets the eye, and it seems to be linked to his own past. Previous seasons have explored his relationship with his brother and his former military unit. So, what threads from Reacher’s past will weave their way into the third season?

For the upcoming third season, Maria Sten will reappear on screen as Frances Neagley. Additionally, Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, and a newcomer named Oliver “The Dutch Giant” Ritchers are set to join the cast.
