
Ryan Coogler is adapting Animorphs for Disney+.
According to Variety, Disney+ is developing a television series based on Animorphs. Bayan Wolcott will write and executive produce the show, and Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, and Sev Ohanian from Proximity Media will also serve as executive producers.
Based on the popular book series, Animorphs aired on Nickelodeon from 1998 to 2000. The show featured five teens with the power to transform into any animal they came into contact with. A new version of the series is coming, and it will follow a group of high school students who discover a secret danger hidden in their town while also dealing with the usual teenage challenges like relationships and curfews.
