As I delve deeper into the captivating narrative of Samantha Armytage’s life, I am struck by her resilience and adaptability. Her journey from Channel Seven to Nine is a testament to her versatility and ambition, much like a seasoned actress transitioning from soap operas to sitcoms.

After her surprising separation from her husband, Richard Lavender, Samantha Armytage has relocated to an upscale apartment in the eastern part of Sydney.

Exclusive news from Daily Mail Australia on Thursday: The TV host, aged 48, and her equestrian entrepreneur spouse, aged 61, have chosen to part ways.

Ever since that heartbreaking news about Samantha and Richard splitting, I can’t help but feel the weight of their separation. They once shared a breathtaking 40-hectare Southern Highlands abode, where they exchanged vows on New Year’s Eve in 2020. Now, it seems that part of my favorite couple’s story has been rewritten, and I can only hope for the best for both of them.

She’s moved back to Sydney and resides in an apartment within the city’s eastern suburbs. In addition, she boasts an impressive collection of high-end properties as part of her vast real estate holdings.

The upcoming host of The Golden Bachelor, who’s 48 years old, has proven himself as a skilled property investor, accumulating a notable collection of properties valued at approximately $10 million, as reported by realestate.com.au.

Samantha has multiple attractive properties spread throughout New South Wales, the latest addition being acquired in May of the current year.

The television veteran paid $1.3million for a renovation project in Moss Vale in the NSW Southern Highlands, the first time the property had changed hands since 1962.

Perched on a spacious 1922-square-meter lot, this breathtaking house boasts three bedrooms and offers captivating vistas of beautiful natural scenery.

Additionally, it’s situated approximately a 12-minute car ride away from the Berrima home they jointly occupied with Richard prior to their split.

In addition, Samantha acquired an attractive property worth $1.58 million as an investment in the fashionable Sydney neighborhood of Rushcutters Bay during the year 2021.

This two-bedroom property, beautifully crafted, boasts a prime location at Marina One Complex, offering stunning waterfront views.

This modern, two-bedroom apartment offers breathtaking waterfront vistas, enjoys plenty of sunlight in the main living area, features a sleek, up-to-date kitchen, and links to a beautiful garden terrace.

The development boasts a resort-like layout, complete with two swimming pools. It’s conveniently located, offering a leisurely walk to the harbor.

Apart from her primary residence, Samantha additionally possesses a vacation property situated at Hyams Beach, along the New South Wales coastline. She acquired this property back in 2018, with a price tag of approximately $1.76 million.

Last year, she listed a three-bedroom beachfront house for sale; however, it remained unpurchased, and only a short while before media outlets reported her separation from Richard, she withdrew the property listing.

In September, Samantha had no choice but to reduce the initial asking price for the property from $3 million to a range of $2.5 million to $3 million when she put it back up for sale.

Thrilled beyond words, I jumped out of bed on Thursday morn, only to learn from the Illawarra Mercury that the very house I’ve been dreaming about is now off the market! It seems my beloved abode, the one I’d longed to call mine, is no longer up for grabs. Ah, the cruel irony of it all!

Previously famous from Sunrise, this individual was offering their stunning vacation home for temporary rentals, setting a high price of $1200 per night, requiring a minimum stay of three nights.

Perched only metres from the beach, the home features an entertainment deck, studio and games room.

Simultaneously, Samantha earned a substantial profit by selling some of her real estate holdings. This came about following her departure from her elegant North Bondi residence in July 2020, which fetched a sale price of $3.15 million.

In 2014, the experienced hostess bought a home for approximately $2.15 million. When the transaction was completed, she earned a substantial profit from the sale.

Samantha had listed the property just days after she first revealed her engagement with Richard.

Additionally, she sold her property Pear Tree Cottage located in the Southern Highlands, before relocating to Richard’s farm in Berrima, in August 2020, at a price of $3.1 million.

In an unexpected turn of events, the property that Samantha had missed out on was resold in March of the previous year for nearly twice its original price at around $6 million. This price set a new record for acreage values in the village.

This week, the news that Samantha and Richard were separating caused a major stir within the Australian television industry.

Instead of revealing their separation to a Sydney newspaper on Friday as initially planned, the news had been prematurely confirmed by sources to Daily Mail Australia.

Samantha shared with the media on Thursday night that she and Richard have parted ways. While any split is difficult, this one is made slightly easier because it’s friendly, and we both hope the best for each other.

‘I appreciate you respecting our privacy. I won’t be making any further comment.’

It’s recently come to light that Samantha has been privately consoled by her television co-presenters for an extended period.

After their breakup, Samantha is no longer being followed by Richard’s daughters, Sascha and Grace, on Instagram, but it appears that both parties still choose to follow one another on the platform.

In April 2019, Samantha began a relationship with Richard. They made their engagement official in June 2020, and exactly six months after that, they exchanged vows at Richard’s countryside property in New South Wales.

On New Year’s Eve, Samantha could be spotted walking hand-in-hand with her newlywed spouse through his Southern Highlands property. This moment was captured in a photo, not long after they had exchanged their wedding vows and said “I do”.

She titled the touching photo, taken right after their wedding service (prior to the reception), ’11:58 AM on a Thursday. What an incredible fortune we share!’

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the intimate ceremony was limited to just a few attendees, likely including Richard’s daughters.

Samantha shared an image taken during the nighttime hours, capturing the pair cozied up together with the message: “Happy New Year from the Lav’s”.

In the midst of her marital dissolution, Samantha has experienced a significant professional transformation by leaving Channel Seven after a long tenure of 21 years.

She has switched to competitor network Nine and secured a role as the presenter for a fresh reality dating series titled The Golden Bachelorette.

The Show Called “The Golden Bachelor” is a variation of the popular dating series, “The Bachelor.” However, it sets itself apart by featuring participants who are single individuals aged between 50 and 60 on a reality dating program.

In her fresh role at Channel Nine, she will step in as a temporary host for Today, as Karl Stefanovic, Sarah Abo take their summer vacation breaks.

Former Sunrise host Samantha is now teaming up with Clint Stanaway from Weekend Today for their new co-hosting role.

For a fortnight, the journalist will switch to the role of ‘Today’ presenter, leveraging her decade-long anchoring expertise at Sunrise (from 2013 to 2021) on the competitor’s show.
