Universal International Studios and Seth McFarlane’s Fuzzy Door Productions bought the rights to create a show based on Dungeon Crawler Carl in 2024. While they’d been working on it for a while, it wasn’t until March 2026 that Peacock officially announced a live-action version was in the works.
