It Takes Two Studio’s Next Game Name Leaks
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can’t help but get excited about the latest leak from Hazelight Studios. The name alone, “Split Fiction,” has me intrigued. I’ve been a fan of their work since A Way Out and It Takes Two, so I’m eagerly awaiting any news about this upcoming title.
The creative team at Hazelight, responsible for hits like “It Takes Two” and “A Way Out,” are secretly developing a new project. However, a recent leak might have revealed its title and potential launch date.
As reported by billbil-kun, who has a history of reliable leaks, and as shared by Eurogamer, the upcoming game is slated for release on March 6th, 2025. The title of this game, “Split Fiction,” seems quite fitting.
It seems that Hazelight Studio will unveil a trailer for their game this month, and it might be at The Game Awards. We can’t predict exactly what “Split Fiction” is going to be, but given the studio’s past work, it appears that cooperative play could be emphasized. Could the title “Split Fiction” refer to some sort of split-screen feature?
At the Game Awards on December 13th, you’ll find even more exciting content. The game “It Takes Two” was a massive hit with our audience. In our assessment, Rich remarked:
Game ‘It Takes Two’ offers a generous serving of emotional depth alongside cooperative pleasure, delivering a fun-filled experience filled with creative puzzles and insightful concepts. While some of its symbolism representing May and Cody’s relationship struggles may seem overly dramatic, there’s an abundance of charm here that overshadows minor concerns. ‘It Takes Two’ is a refreshing change and the ultimate cooperative paradise.
