Twenty years since her American Idol win, she’ll be gracing the stage in Times Square just before midnight, belting out a medley of her biggest hits. It’s like Christmas came early, y’all!
In the year 2025, Carrie Underwood is set to perform at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
The singer was seen in a strapless gold minidress as she posed for images with Ryan.
The American Idol veteran expressed joy about reminiscing his delightful memories from performing on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Times Square during 2007 and 2015, and he can hardly wait to perform just before the ball drops this year as well.

The live broadcast of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest in the year 2025 will be aired on ABC television starting at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on December 31, with the replay available the next day on streaming service Hulu.

For the 20th time, Ryan Seacrest will be the host for the most popular New Year’s Eve broadcast in America. Joining him on this occasion will be worldwide sensation Rita Ora, and together they’ll guide us through the countdown to midnight, all live from Times Square.
Musicians such as the renowned rock artist Lenny Kravitz, known for selling more than 40 million records worldwide, have also been among those who perform. His latest creation, the 12th studio album, was recently unveiled.
Versatile vocalist Teddy Swims, influential R&B innovator, musician, composer, and performer Tinashe, successful country artist Cody Johnson, and five-time Grammy-nominated musician Thomas Rhett.
In the year 2024, ABC’s annual New Year’s Eve special, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” drew in a total of 22.2 million viewers as the clock struck midnight.
This annual show, now in its 54th edition, highlights the exceptional music from the past year through energetic performances, features beloved American hosts, and provides glimpses into New Year’s festivities worldwide.
