Take the Black: Watch our spoiler-free review of Wind and Truth, the fifth Stormlight Archive novel
As a die-hard fan of all things sci-fi, fantasy, and beyond, I can confidently say that the Take the Black podcast is a beacon of light in the vast, dark cosmos of entertainment discussions. Every week, these two Dan’s, like celestial bodies orbiting around a shared passion, draw me into their captivating conversation about the universe of Westeros and beyond.
Each week, two individuals named Dan engage in a lively podcast discussion about science fiction, fantasy, films, TV shows, and literature. The show is called “Take the Black,” and this past week’s episode was particularly captivating. Not only did we receive intriguing updates from Westeros, but our very own Daniel Roman shared an early review of “Wind and Truth,” the fifth novel in Brandon Sanderson’s epic “Stormlight Archive” series. In the realm of fantasy literature, few authors are as highly regarded as Brandon Sanderson, and few series are as acclaimed as “The Stormlight Archive.” We feel fortunate and appreciative to be able to share our insights with you.
Option A (Skipping to a specific section): Feel free to fast-forward to approximately the 22-minute point in the show, as every chapter is clearly marked; this will take you straight to the “Wind and Truth” segment.
On Friday, December 6th, “Wind and Truth” is set to be released, which means it won’t be long before everyone can delve into the next chapter in Sanderson’s tale. Additionally, we’ll discuss some intriguing updates from Westeros, such as a projected launch date for “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” and fresh insights on “House of the Dragon” season 2.
The “Take the Black Podcast” is available on both iTunes and YouTube Music. If possible, please subscribe and download it from either platform. Your support would be greatly appreciated with a five-star rating and a friendly comment! We’ve also expanded to Spreaker, so don’t forget to check us out there too!
Every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST), fresh installments of Take the Black can be found on both the WinterIsComing YouTube and Facebook channels. Interestingly enough, there won’t be a new episode next week. However, we’ve prepared an episode in advance that we believe you’ll enjoy, so remember to come back at our usual time!
