Abbey Clancy wraps up in a burgundy jumper and sequinned skirt as she gets into the festive spirit for a new Christmas advert

As a seasoned observer of the world of celebrity, I must say that watching the lives of people like Abbey Clancy unfold is always a fascinating journey. In this particular instance, her latest endeavor for the Christmas campaign of a lingerie brand showcases not just her stunning beauty, but also her courage and confidence.

On Wednesday, Abbey Clancy attracted attention wearing a fashionable burgundy sweater and shimmering sequin skirt while filming a holiday-themed Shark commercial.

Thirty-eight-year-old model gracefully sprinted toward her luxurious Christmas tree wearing tall boots, eagerly approaching a big gift to unwrap it.

Abbey beamed with joy as she carefully unveiled her present, finding within it a sparkling, exclusive model of the versatile FlexStyle hairdryer.

With her long, wavy golden locks cascading freely, Abbey displayed a variety of accessories designed to style her hair in various ways: curling it, adding volume, defining its structure, straightening it out, or smoothing it down.

She showed off her beautiful grin, glancing behind her after unwrapping the Christmas gift a bit ahead of schedule.

Shark labeled the Instagram post, similarly posted on Abbey’s account as well: “Prepare to shine throughout the entire season!

After Abbey revealed her experiences while shooting the sultry Christmas campaign for Agent Provocateur alongside her husband Peter Crouch, she confessed that the scenes looked more passionate on camera than they actually were off-camera.

The advert sees the model putting on a jaw-dropping display in red lace lingerie and suspenders as she ties the former footballer, 43, to a snooker table.

Under the direction of Greg Williams, the film featured Jamie Winstone portraying the pub owner, while the onscreen duo showcased an intensely affectionate relationship at The Marquis Cornwallis, a London-based establishment.

In the advertisement, Abbey is depicted in a hotel room, donning a delicate lace bra, undergarments, and stockings, while she sends a message to Peter inviting him to join her.

Instead, she’s drawn away from him due to her friends engaged in a game of snooker at the nearby pub, causing Abbey to show off her stunning physique dramatically by exiting the room and dashing across the street in nothing but her undergarments to address him.

In my advice as a lifestyle guide, I’d rephrase it like this: I often guide people towards moments of intimacy, and in this scenario, I find myself guiding him onto a table. Straddling him, I use silk stockings to gently bind him, lowering his trousers to unveil the enticing boxers from a renowned lingerie brand.

However, in an unexpected move, the host cleverly turns the tables on Peter. She manages to make him uncomfortable, only to then depart abruptly, just as the advertisement concludes, subtly reminding viewers, “Always remember date night.

In her latest discussion on their podcast, The Therapy Couch, Abbey shared her strategy for convincing Peter to participate in their recent campaign.

She said: ‘I’ve just done the new campaign for Agent Provocateur and we filmed an advert for it, which was hysterical. Me, Pete and Jaime Winstone.

Later, I sent a message to Pete saying, “Hey Pete, no pressure here,” but five hours passed and he ended up being bound to a pool table with lace stockings.

Peter expressed his own shock at the unexpected sequence of events, stating, “A friend of mine messaged me, ‘Hey, what’s your plan?’ To which I replied with a photo of my current activity. He simply replied, ‘I won’t bother asking.’

However, Abbey openly acknowledged that shooting the sensual sequences wasn’t nearly as appealing as it appeared on screen, instead describing it as ‘distressing’. She further revealed that she had to confront her personal insecurities during the process.

“I had to stroll along a busy downtown street in a red lingerie set,” and Peter added for clarity: “It wasn’t some secluded side street, no, it was the heart of London itself. You were the epitome of confidence!

She went on: ‘The weird thing is when you hear movie stars talk about doing sex scenes and they say it’s the most unsexy thing ever. The advert is really hot but at the time it was horrific.

‘It was the most excruciating thing. There was like 50 crew and I had to just walk and tie Pete up to a snooker table.’

Peter broke into laughter, as he admitted: ‘It was like one of the weirdest days, I can’t even explain it.’

Abbey commented: “The day felt very systematic, it was meticulously planned. It seemed like ‘Lick his ear now, then turn around and stick your rear end in his face.’

The silence was so profound, it seemed as if even the softest whisper would echo. It felt as though a team of fifty people were huddled together, whispering instructions such as “Face about, buttocks near him, then bend over to murmur in his ear.

Apart from admitting she was a mother of four, she additionally acknowledged experiencing the pressure to appear self-assured as a role model for women who viewed the advertisement.

She expressed that she felt somewhat accountable towards other women, as confidence seems crucial and it wouldn’t be appealing if she didn’t embody that role.

The advertisement aims to empower women, encouraging them to embrace their confidence and sexuality, feeling comfortable in their own bodies. As a mother of four, I too have felt self-conscious at times. However, being a woman of 40 years, I am not blessed with the body of a 20-year-old; instead, it’s about embracing my unique beauty and individuality.

For me, it was quite a challenge to conquer this, so I hope viewers can draw the inspiration that if I could do it, they can too.

Peter admired his remarkable spouse, expressing, “I felt incredibly proud of you for what you did. You were simply fantastic.

Besides noting they had a blast too, she commented: ‘The team was terrific, and we shared some good laughs. I believe the reason it resonated with many is that it carries humor, making it both amusing and appealing.’

However, the podcast host openly acknowledged that some people weren’t thrilled with the steamy advertisement, since she shared that her father, Geoff Clancy, found it less appealing.

She said: ‘The only negative comment I had was from my dad, he was like “That’s so rude!”‘

This year, our Christmas campaign is a delightful spin on our 2015 Love Me Tender movie, featuring the beautiful Rosie Huntington Whiteley reprising her role.

In a well-known commercial, the model unexpectedly visited her boyfriend’s workplace and performed an intimate dance for him while wearing seductive black lingerie, following his decision to prioritize work over their planned date by focusing on an assignment.

Before unveiling her provocative outfit, Rosie hid herself in a trench coat as she made her way to meet him – much like Abbey did once.
