Gibbs heads to Mexico in NCIS: Origins season 1, episode 9 (Preview)
As a dedicated NCIS fan with a decade-long obsession, I can confidently say that the impending episode 9 of NCIS: Origins is shaping up to be a game-changer. The team’s journey to Tijuana, Mexico feels ominous, and as someone who has followed Gibbs’ haunting backstory, I sense that his personal vendetta against Pedro Hernandez may finally come to light.
Viewers familiar with Gibbs’s narrative would recognize Mexico as significant within his personal quest for vengeance. Might it be possible that the events of NCIS: Origins Season 1, Episode 9 could lay the groundwork for this storyline?
It’s clear that Gibbs is deeply affected by the loss of his wife and daughter, and finding peace seems elusive for him after their murders many years ago. However, there’s a glimmer of justice on the horizon, though we haven’t reached that part of the story yet. We can only speculate that this long-awaited resolution will arrive soon.
The new episode could kick-start that storyline. After all, Mexico is an important location.
The team heads to Mexico in NCIS: Origins season 1, episode 9
The National Investigation Service (NIS) is on its way to Tijuana, Mexico, as they take up a new case. A young woman has gone missing; she was supposed to meet her friends at a local club in Tijuana, but not everyone arrived there. Given the circumstances, it’s possible that this investigation may lead down paths related to drug cartels or human trafficking – themes often explored in cases like these.
Gibbs will not leave until he gets the girl back. This is a man who is grieving the loss of his own daughter. He won’t want anyone else to go through something like that, especially not when there is a team there who can help get her back.
Nevertheless, Gibbs’ situation holds a deeply personal significance. From what we learned in the initial series, Gibbs exacted his vengeance in Mexico. The individual he avenged was Pedro Hernandez, who was instrumental in the tragic deaths of Shannon and Kelly. Hernandez had murdered the agent tasked with their protection, leading to a car accident. This unfortunate event transpired because Shannon had witnessed a crime and was prepared to testify about it.
As a gamer, I took charge of my situation when it came to Hernandez. Initially, Lieutenant Lara Macy delved into the matter, but upon learning about my motivations for pursuing Hernandez, she closed her investigation.
All of this needs to play out, and why wouldn’t Gibbs stay in Mexico while he was there? Wouldn’t it make it a little easier for him? We don’t have an exact time frame of when Gibbs got his revenge from what I can remember, so now would be a great time. We could get the revenge storyline in the winter finale.
