Millie Mackintosh gushes she’s got ‘so much new hair’ as she shares a glimpse of £550 scalp massage to thicken her locks – adding to her VERY extensive list of ‘tweakments’
As a seasoned observer of the ever-evolving world of celebrity aesthetics, I must say that Millie’s recent revelation about her beauty regimen is nothing short of intriguing. Having spent a considerable portion of my life following the footsteps of the glitterati, I find it refreshing to see someone as prominent as Millie being so candid about her choices.
Millie Mackintosh excitedly announced that she has “a lot of fresh hair” after posting a sneak peek of her £550 hair treatment on social media.
Previously known from Made In Chelsea, a woman aged 35, recently posted on Instagram a video of her undergoing the newest Exosomes Hair Treatment. The procedure appears reminiscent of a soothing scalp massage, employing a white rubber brush.
Millie proudly displayed the expensive hair care she received, worth £550, as a professional stylist carefully combed through her stunning newly-dyed blonde hair.
As per the clinic’s explanation, the process encourages hair regrowth by transporting exosomes (containing growth factors) to the scalp.
Millie, who recently unveiled her freshly dyed blonde locks a few days ago, seems to be diligent about maintaining her hair health, having undergone two scalp treatments using polynucleotides at the same clinic previously.
Last month, the TV personality shared a cute selfie outside her hairdressers as she confirmed that she was ‘officially a blonde’.
In the past few months, Millie had been gradually transitioning away from her regular mousy brown hair by incorporating increasing numbers of highlights before her upcoming hair salon visit.
For the upcoming holiday celebrations, Millie has made a change – she’s traded her brunette base and long extensions for a stylish, short blonde bob instead.
She unveiled her new hairstyle and wrote, “Fifty shades of…blond! After several tries, I’ve finally become an official blondie!
Millie’s hair care routine represents a small part of her overall self-care and aesthetic maintenance, considering the multiple cosmetic procedures she admittedly undergoes to preserve her radiant appearance.
Millie emphasized that by posting images and clips of various treatments, she’s not intending to significantly alter her looks.
Millie revealed it was all about ‘enhancing what’s already there’.
In her writing, she mentions that whenever she conducts a Q&A session, she is consistently inundated with queries regarding the beauty treatments she endorses.
I have a strong passion for advanced technology; it’s all about refining and improving existing aspects, rather than making drastic changes. For me, it’s less about altering my physical appearance, but more about enhancing my self-confidence and helping me feel like the optimal version of myself.
I’ve consistently advocated for full disclosure regarding any cosmetic procedures I’ve undergone, as honesty about my backstage processes is a priority for me.
I’ve been really enjoying the fact that these treatments bring out a natural, radiant look without altering my unique identity.
She shared that she undergoes microblading and lamination for her eyebrows as a time-saving measure instead of drawing them, and she’s recently had her hair colored a bit more blonde.
In simpler terms, microblading is a semi-permanent method similar to tattooing for eyebrows, whereas lamination can be thought of as a permanent brow-styling treatment, much like a perm for your eyebrows.
Millie disclosed that she has Botox injections three times each year, and she demonstrated having undergone two polynucleotide treatments, one for the area under her eyes and another for her scalp.
Polynucleotides, often known as salmon or trout sperm injections, are actually purified and sterilized DNA fragments obtained from fish sperm. These fragments are administered through skin injections to encourage collagen production, which in turn helps restore a more youthful appearance by addressing hair loss issues.
The fashion for this aesthetic, admired by stars like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston, might result in skin showing signs of bruising and small spots of blood.
Millie displayed a picture of her face, marked with tiny punctures following the procedure, and noted that she observed improvements in her complexion and also noticed increased hair growth.
She added that she also underwent a ‘baby face facial’ and a ‘genius lift on the back of my legs to tighten the skin’.
Instead of undergoing her final therapy as lymphatic drainage aimed at addressing water retention, she informed her followers: “Ever since I turned 35, I’ve been storing more water in my abdomen. These therapy sessions have been remarkably effective in reducing the excess fluid.
