Jennifer Garner reveals her holiday plans with the three children she shares ex with Ben Affleck

As a devoted fan, I simply adore following Jennifer Garner’s heartwarming family adventures and her unwavering dedication to cherished traditions. Her festive plans with her lovely brood, especially The Nutcracker outing, are a testament to her remarkable parenting skills and the profound impact she has on her kids.

Jennifer Garner has revealed her festive holiday plans with her family.

Garner, the mother of Violet (age 18), Fin (15), and Samuel (12), who was previously married to Ben Affleck, mentioned that she plans to take her children to watch The Nutcracker.

The 52-year-old called the play a ‘huge’ Christmas tradition for her and the kids.

She enthusiastically stated that they would absolutely attend The Nutcracker performance, as it holds great significance during the holiday season for her and her children. Fortunately, they have been well accustomed to this tradition. Moreover, spending time with family is particularly cherished by her.

And the children also contribute their own ‘specialty’ dishes for Thanksgiving.

She mentioned that one of her children excels at preparing mashed potatoes, another takes pride in baking apple pies, and the third one, well, it seems we don’t know yet what culinary delights she might create instead.

On Saturday, Jennifer shared a peek at her post-Thanksgiving undertakings by posting a recipe for ‘Cranberry Sauce Muffins from Leftovers’ on her Instagram account.

Lately, Jennifer seems to have subtly criticized her previous marriage with Ben while offering relationship guidance.

The actress discussed lessons she’d gained from her marriages to Affleck (from 2005-2018) and Foley (from 2000-2004) on an episode of the Lipstick on the Rim podcast, which was released on November 12.

She shared a quote that her mother, Pat Garner, often said: “Never enter a relationship with the hope of changing a man, or don’t get married under such assumptions.

In my passion for these timeless stories, I can confidently trace many of the wise words I share back to Mrs. Ingalls from ‘Little House on the Prairie’ or Anne Shirley from ‘Anne of Green Gables’, or even both of these beloved characters.

As a devoted admirer, I too find solace in these powerful phrases. “Weeping may linger into the night, yet joy will break dawn” – this quote reminds me that even the darkest moments shall pass, giving way to a new day of happiness. And, “happiness is self-administered,” a statement which encourages me to take charge of my own contentment, fostering a positive and empowering mindset.

She did not further elaborate on her marriages.

In 2005, Garner and Affleck got married, however, it wasn’t until 2018 that their 13-year long marriage officially ended with a divorce.

Garner is now dating businessman John Miller, whom she has been with on-off since 2018.

In the year 2022, Affleck rekindled his relationship with his former spouse Jennifer Lopez, however, she initiated a separation process in August, marking an end to their two-year-long marriage.

A few days following her remarks, Garner and Affleck came together once more to lend a hand at the Midnight Mission on Thanksgiving Day.

Together with their children, the celebrities joined forces to assist in serving meals to around 2,000 underprivileged individuals, including those close to homelessness, during the yearly Thanksgiving event hosted by the charity organization in downtown Los Angeles.

Overflowing with excitement, I found myself standing there, side by side with this legendary two-time Oscar winner and actress, both of us just a few years shy of half a century. We were donning identical aprons, our heads bent close together in hushed conversation, as if sharing some secret only we knew.

They both appeared in high spirits as they served their community with a smile.

An eyewitness told DailyMail.com that they spent three hours there.

Ben also indulged in a tasty Thanksgiving Day meal at the actress’s home with their kids.

A source shared with Page Six that Ben felt grateful for celebrating Thanksgiving with his former spouse and kids, mentioning that he feels comfortable being himself in the presence of Garner.

Their marriage lasted from 2005 up until the news of their separation in 2015. Exactly three years after that announcement, their divorce became final in 2018.

Despite their separation, Ben still finds a sense of ease when he’s around Jen, according to our source.

According to additional information, the news outlet learned that Affleck and Garner have celebrated other Thanksgivings together following their split.

They will remain connected due to the shared bond of their children and the amicable coparenting dynamic they have established.
