Lately, I’ve been dealing with some anxiety, but John took the time to talk to me and help ease my fears by reminding me that situations usually aren’t as dire as they seem in my mind. He called it a kind gesture.

In my own words, I’d say: “You know, I’m always spinning humor. It’s quite a contrast when John does it, considering his usual serious demeanor as a chef and judge. However, I believe I have the knack for making people laugh more effectively.

Previously, Gregg emphasized to Lorraine Kelly that he and another individual were quite close. However, according to John, they haven’t had a strong friendship.

In a broadcast from April this year, he confided in the ITV host that since they work together for around six to seven months annually, they are not only physically but also emotionally quite close to one another.

One advantage of being in a partnership is that when one person might be feeling a little low or out of sorts, the other tends to take over automatically. So, I lean heavily on John’s support.

Gregg mentioned: ‘People often comment that John and I don’t see eye to eye… However, we’ve been colleagues for 20 years and have known each other for a decade prior – John used to buy produce from me. Simultaneously, without offering any insight into the situation, during the press announcement this afternoon, Gregg turned to Instagram and posted his own recipe for prawn tacos with a pineapple salsa side dish.

After the accusations surfaced, Gregg has pledged to collaborate completely during the proceedings, as stated by the show’s production company, Banijay UK.

Pre-recorded episodes of MasterChef: The Professionals (airing on BBC One with Wallace) will air as scheduled through December.

In October, Wallace firmly refuted allegations of making sexually suggestive remarks towards women. He emphasized that such behavior is not part of his character, stating clearly: “I never flirt or make advances towards any woman, and I certainly didn’t make any sexual comments.

This week, the BBC has been receiving complaints from people concerning old accusations of misbehavior that were made during Gregg Wallace’s work on one of Banijay UK’s programs.

Although the accusers haven’t personally brought their complaints to our production team or our parent company, Banijay UK, we believe it’s essential to promptly initiate an independent investigation, conducted by an outside party, to thoroughly and fairly look into the matters at hand.

During the ongoing review, Gregg Wallace has decided to temporarily step back from his duties on MasterChef. He remains dedicated to actively participating in the process as it unfolds.

In October, Wallace openly acknowledged experiencing stress due to accusations of making inappropriate sexual remarks towards women. Furthermore, it was claimed by John Torode’s wife that Wallace often made off-color jokes during filming.

I hopped onto Instagram for a live session where I shared advice about maintaining a balanced diet, amidst recent rumors that have surfaced this week.

He mentioned that he was momentarily preoccupied, yet took a moment to greet everyone.

His response on social media became evident when news broke that John Torode’s wife Lisa Faulkner might respond, “I’d rather not listen,” upon hearing that he allegedly shared jokes with the crew of BBC’s main culinary program, MasterChef.

In 2010, Faulkner, who was then 52 years old, graced our screens as a contestant on the show. She eventually triumphed and took home the trophy for Celebrity MasterChef.
