Is there anything he can't do? Robert Irwin teases surprise new career move after rumours he would replace Daniel Craig as James Bond

As an ardent fan of the multi-talented Robert Irwin, I find myself utterly captivated by his relentless pursuit of excellence and versatility across various domains. The 21-year-old’s life is a testament to the power of passion, resilience, and determination, much like the wild creatures he so dearly loves and protects.

Robert Irwin aims for country music fame, only two months after landing a significant nomination for the esteemed Gold Logie award.

At just 21 years old, this individual has already achieved success in various fields. These include conservation work, television presenting, photography, occasional modeling for men’s fashion, and hosting on the red carpet. Additionally, they have been selected to represent Queensland tourism as their new ambassador.

In a recent chat with Stellar, Robert revealed something he’s never shared before – he composes his own tunes and dreams of unveiling an album under his name someday.

‘I’ve never told anyone this but I have written stuff,’ the wildlife warrior said.

I’ve scribbled down small snippets here and there. I have a passion for composing music, arranging tunes using various chord progressions.

Additionally, I’ve composed some pieces which I performed for a limited audience who enjoyed them. However, this group consists solely of friends and relatives, so their opinions might be influenced. It’s uncertain whether the compositions are truly impressive. Nonetheless, the question remains: would I release an album based on these reactions? The answer is still unclear.

During the COVID-19 lockdowns, a 21-year-old individual discovered the guitar for the first time and later learned to play the ukulele and banjo as well.

For those keeping track at home, that was four years ago, when he was just 16.

Steve Irwin’s youngest child is quite versatile, having adapted well to multiple professions, often switching careers annually since then.

It appears that Robert doesn’t explicitly classify his music as a specific genre, but it seems he has a strong affinity for country music.

Amidst the pandemic, he shared a touching video online where he sang Johnny Cash’s “Ghost Riders in the Sky” to his pet pug, Stella.

At the age of eighteen, Irwin embarked on a road trip across Australia during the summer, accompanied by Stella, his surfboard, skateboard, and cherished guitar.

Later on, he astonished his fans when he took the Las Vegas stage in May of this year for a performance alongside country music sensation Lee Kernaghan during the Steve Irwin Gala.

Robert wore a suit as he performed a rendition of the Australian hitmaker’s tune Outback Club.

Taking to Instagram, he shared a gallery of photos of the event.

At present, the genre of country music is witnessing a revival in Australia, making it the second largest consumer of this music worldwide, trailing only behind the United States.

At a recent industry breakfast discussion organized by Variety, festival organizers shared an interesting update: While major multi-genre events like Splendour in the Grass and Groovin’ in the Moo have taken a hit, country music festivals such as Ridin’ Hearts and CMC Rocks have astonishingly sold out incredibly fast.

It’s not just music that Robert is keen to explore.

Previously, there had been a playful idea floated around about him being a possible successor to Daniel Craig in the upcoming James Bond film, following his Instagram post showing him dressed in a tuxedo.

In an interview with the magazine, Irwin revealed that one individual who proposed him for the Bond role was Jasin Boland – a photographer well-known for working on the James Bond movies starring Daniel Craig. This is one of the reasons that sparked his keenness for the part.

‘And when he commented, I was like: “Oh, hang on … [maybe]?”

The rapidly rising star attributes his determined approach towards embracing new professions to a blend of inherent traits and learned behaviors, stating that with maturity, he understands he can leverage his personal celebrity status to advocate for issues that resonate deeply with him.
