Ciara Miller, from Summer House, reportedly found out her ex, West Wilson, had been intimate with her friend Amanda Batula after seeing a video of them together.
TMZ reports that sources say Miller obtained a video purportedly showing the new couple being intimate at his home.
The recording was said to have dismayed Miller, 30.
According to the report, sources claim that Wilson and Batula didn’t know they were being recorded, though where the video came from remains a mystery.
New York law generally allows recordings if at least one person involved in the conversation knows it’s being recorded. However, a video purportedly made of Wilson and Batula without their permission could lead to legal trouble for whoever filmed it.
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Miller, Wilson and Batula for comment.
TMZ reports that Batula texted Miller on March 30th, explaining she didn’t mean to cause any hurt feelings by dating her ex.
According to reports, Batula told Miller she needed to understand where she stood with Wilson before discussing it with her friend any further.
Miller hadn’t said much publicly about her ex and her friend’s new relationship, but she finally spoke out on Tuesday, the same day Wilson and Batula confirmed they were dating.
The Summer House cast member shared a video and questioned, ‘If you can’t trust your friends and neighbors, who can you trust?’
On Monday, Miller reported from the red carpet at the season 2 premiere of Your Friends & Neighbors, conducting interviews with cast members for Apple TV+.
While interviewing 55-year-old Jon Hamm, Miller asked him how he was doing.
‘Wonderful, thank you. How are you?’ Hamm replies.
The camera then zooms in on Miller, who says, ‘I’m good,’ before adding, ‘Well, I’ve been better.’
She playfully suggested elsewhere in the video that everyone involved in the project lacks a strong moral compass.
She also told another cast member that she is ‘on Prozac.’
This video was her first post on social media after Batula, 34, and Wilson, 28, publicly announced they were dating. They had confirmed their relationship just hours earlier in a joint statement on Instagram Stories.
We’ve noticed a lot of discussion online, so we wanted to quickly share some information, even though things are still developing.
We never meant to keep anything secret. With the complex relationships happening and the pressure of being on a reality show, we just needed some time to sort things out privately before talking about it.
We’ve been friends for a long time, supporting each other through good times and bad. This recent development in our relationship was a complete surprise to both of us.
We’d been close friends for a long time, so it was really important to handle things carefully as our relationship developed.
‘As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling.’
We understand this situation has affected others, and we sincerely regret if our actions caused any pain or seemed thoughtless.
It concluded: ‘We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.’
The news was confirmed a few days after rumors started circulating online, with the gossip account Deux Moi initially reporting that the two had been seen kissing.
During the March 31st episode of Summer House, Wilson was shown urging Kyle Cooke, who was then married to Batula, to apologize for how he had treated her.
This episode was recorded before Batula and Cooke revealed they were splitting up in January, ending their four-year marriage.
Following a heated, alcohol-fueled argument in the previous episode, tensions remained high after Cooke directed a string of abusive language at Batula, including a vulgar expletive and a deeply offensive slur.
The next day, during Cooke’s birthday party, Wilson addressed the incident.
Wilson acknowledged the complexity of their relationship, but felt that in this instance, the reaction was disproportionate to the situation, as nothing actually came of it. He stated it was a clear case of overreacting and that expressing frustration in that manner wasn’t healthy or productive.
Cooke felt hurt and frustrated because Batula seemed to be prioritizing her friends over him, and he didn’t feel like she was putting enough effort into their relationship.
‘If I can be honest, I’m basically falling apart,’ Cooke added.
Wilson instructed me to begin by telling her, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it. I shouldn’t speak to you that way.”
Cooke became emotional and stated that people outside of the situation couldn’t possibly understand what the couple was experiencing.
Wilson asked him to communicate openly, promising they’d listen in return. He specifically requested that he not blame Amanda and simply apologize to her, please.
Later in the episode, Miller stated that Cooke’s outburst towards Batula was completely inappropriate and unjustified.
Cooke later apologized to Batula, admitting he was being unkind and also expressing his belief that she didn’t want to continue their relationship.
Batula acknowledged that they are in a ‘weird place right now.’
She explained that the problem wasn’t what was being said, but how it was said, and that she consistently felt disrespected.
From what I’m hearing, Cooke and Batula are really struggling in their relationship – things are definitely rocky. Batula herself admitted she’s feeling incredibly frustrated, especially after ten years of ups and downs. It sounds like she’s reached a point where she’s not sure she can keep going like this.
I’ve been a constant support for you, even during the hardest times and despite everything that’s been said. I’ve always been here for you, but I can’t keep accepting this treatment. I’ve been patient because I understand you’re going through a lot and that your behavior isn’t always about me.
I also feel like sometimes you don’t seem to care,” Cooke explained. “I’m wondering why we aren’t trying harder to fix things, and it’s really confusing. Would you be open to going to couples therapy with me?
Batula agreed that she would try counseling.
Cooke expressed a desire for a more collaborative relationship, stating, “I just want to feel like we’re working together as partners.” She added that she currently feels overwhelmed and unsupported.
People are wondering how long Batula and West have been attracted to each other, drawing comparisons to the highly publicized cheating scandal on Vanderpump Rules – often called ‘Scandoval’ – where Tom Sandoval cheated on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss.
Fans on Reddit and TikTok buzzed with theories, and on Instagram, viewers noticed something interesting: both Batula and Wilson seemed to own the same unusual sweatshirt. Wilson was photographed wearing it in November 2025, and Batula was seen in it just recently.
Over the weekend, some of the Summer House cast addressed the gossip. Lindsay Hubbard, for example, shared an old Instagram Story photo of herself looking displeased, seemingly referencing the rumors.
Miller and Batula had planned to co-host an Amazon Live stream, announced on March 5th, but ultimately did the broadcast separately, which intensified speculation about a rift between them.
Wilson and Miller’s breakup was complicated by Wilson giving several interviews to the press afterward, including a detailed one with The New York Times.
In an interview with The Times, Wilson explained he was unable to confirm Miller’s involvement due to issues connected with the show itself.
He said at the time that he didn’t believe those issues were a fair reason to end the relationship.
Wilson admitted she might have seemed more genuine if she’d simply said the relationship had naturally ended and they weren’t a good match. She felt a straightforward explanation would have been better.
I realize that by trying to avoid talking directly about the relationship and focusing on other issues, I came across as foolish.
As a longtime fan, it was really heartbreaking to see how much pain this relationship caused Paige. She actually cried while talking about it at the Season 8 Summer House reunion, and it was just so clear how deeply it affected her.
You can watch Summer House on Bravo Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. If you miss it, episodes are available to stream on Peacock starting the next day.
