Pregnant Kristen Doute seen for the first time since baby announcement at gender reveal party hosted by Brittany Cartwright
As a dedicated follower and long-time observer of the reality TV scene, I must say that seeing Kristen Doute and her fiancé Luke Broderick at their gender reveal party was a heartwarming moment. After experiencing a pregnancy loss last year and undergoing fertility treatments, it’s truly inspiring to see them expecting their first child together.
On Saturday, it was observed for the initial time since Kristen Doute announced her pregnancy that she made an appearance in Los Angeles.
41-year-old reality television personality was seen exiting a gender reveal party hosted by her fellow “The Valley” cast member Brittany Cartwright and fiancé Luke Broderick, donning a hoodie from country musician Morgan Wallen’s One Night on Tour.
Previously on Vanderpump Rules, the former cast member donned a long, rich-brown maxi skirt paired with tall boots of a matching tan hue, for the party hosted at Brittany’s residence.
She carried a brown shoulder back and covered up in dark sunglasses.
Thirty-three-year-old Broderick sported a black hoodie adorned with a red heart on the left, paired with worn-out blue denim jeans and black tennis shoes.
The sweatshirts were a gift from Cartwright to the expectant parents.
In a simple selfie posted on her Instagram Stories, Doute thanked Broderick for the hoodies she received.
The snap also indicated that ‘mom and dad want to be the ones to announce,’ the baby’s gender.
Tom Schwarz appeared to be the only guest from the couple’s TV families to attend the gathering.
At the gender reveal party, Cartwright aimed to maintain a playful atmosphere. He provided amusing drink cups and napkins, adorned with golden lettering that said, “Here just for the gender.
She also had blue and pink banner made which borrowed a line from a favorite children’s song.
‘Twinkle Twinkle little star how I wonder what you are,’ was written on the sign.
On Tuesday, November 26, the couple shared the exciting news that they are having their first child together during an interview with People magazine.
The reality star shared that we’re set to welcome a new member in June, and we can hardly wait to grow our small family and take on the exciting role of parenthood!
In the year 2023, Doute and Broderick faced a heartbreaking pregnancy loss. Given her advanced age, she sought assistance from a fertility expert during the summer months. Ultimately, they chose a procedure known as IUI (intrauterine insemination) to help them conceive.
About two weeks past, the pair received joyful news. “I felt a mix of relief, excitement, happiness, overwhelming joy, and a hint of nerves,” Doute expressed, describing her response upon receiving the result from the home test.
As soon as I shared the news with Luke, his face didn’t show any surprise, but instead, he erupted with immense joy. It turned out that IUI had worked on the very first try – something we had been prepared might not happen. To put it mildly, he was overjoyed and thrilled beyond words!
Initially residing in different states, the pair who started their romance embarked on living together in an LA apartment as of July, aspiring for a rental home. Proposal from Broderick came in September during their work on The Valley’s second season, while they were filming in Hawaii.
