Alice Evans claims brutal feud and salacious allegations against Marvel star ex Ioan Gruffudd somehow HELPED his career

During a recent court appearance in Los Angeles, actress Alice Evans surprisingly suggested that her ongoing accusations of harassment, abuse, and false claims against her ex-husband, actor Ioan Gruffudd of Fantastic Four fame, may have unintentionally benefited his career.

When asked if her online comments about Gruffudd – including accusations that he was unfaithful during their marriage – were intended to harm his career, Evans, 57, responded, ‘No.’

She then launched into a commentary about the morals of the movie business and its stars.

Okay, so I’ve been following this whole thing with Alice Evans and Ioan Gruffudd so closely, and it’s just…wow. She was in court today, and basically, she was telling everyone that Hollywood isn’t exactly full of good people, which, okay, true. But the real point is, she’s fighting him over spousal support. He’s apparently trying to get out of paying her anything, and she’s asking for more than the $1,500 a month he’s currently giving her. It’s a mess, honestly, and I’m completely hooked on every detail!

‘Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck and Jude Law have all been involved in cheating scandals.

Despite accusations of assaulting his child on a plane, Brad Pitt continues to receive prestigious awards like Oscars and Golden Globes.

Cheating scandals are surprisingly common, and often don’t damage an actor’s career – in fact, they can actually make the public more fascinated with them.

Okay, so I’ve been following this whole thing with Alice Evans and Ioan Gruffudd, and honestly, it’s just…intense. She just said some really shocking things in court, during this awful trial. The judge already had to issue a five-year restraining order against her because of how she’s been harassing Ioan and his new wife, Bianca Wallace – who, by the way, Alice constantly accuses him of having an affair with while they were married. It’s just… a mess. I’ve been glued to every update, and it’s heartbreaking and frankly, a little scary to watch it all unfold.

During the second part of the trial on Thursday, Gruffudd is requesting the judge to end his payments to Evans, citing a history of domestic abuse, repeated violations of a previous restraining order, and his belief that he has already paid her nearly $400,000 more than he owed.

As a lifestyle expert, I often see women making career sacrifices for family, and that’s exactly what happened to me. When I turned 39 and my partner and I decided to start a family, my career understandably took a backseat. It’s a common shift, prioritizing raising children, but it definitely changed my professional trajectory.

They hadn’t been successful in getting pregnant naturally due to her age, so they turned to IVF. This required her to remain close to Los Angeles for treatment and limited her ability to travel.

Despite becoming pregnant with her daughter, Ella, in December 2008, she managed to film one episode of Lost.

After Ella was born, now at age 16, Ioan and his wife decided that one of them would always be home with her.

She once believed she could balance motherhood with her acting career, thinking she could ‘have it all’ and be incredibly capable.

However, she quickly understood that wasn’t feasible, particularly after the birth of their second daughter, Elsie, who is now 12 and was also conceived through IVF.

Evans explained that she had to decline acting roles and skip auditions. She often brought her children with her when her husband, Gruffudd, worked on location for films, which made it impossible for her to pursue her own work or travel for auditions.

With Gruffudd’s career taking off, she said that the two decided to concentrate on his success.

She earned just $7,000 per TV episode, while his fee was a much higher $105,000, highlighting a significant income disparity.

When her lawyer, Janina Verano, asked if she’d supported Gruffudd’s career, Evans confirmed that she had. She explained she read all of his scripts and they would discuss every role he was considering. She jokingly added that he often referred to her as his unofficial manager.

Evans testified in court that after she and Gruffudd split in 2021, she sold luxury items like clothing, jewelry, and accessories on the RealReal platform to earn money.

Facing eviction, she reached out to friends for financial assistance and launched a GoFundMe campaign to try and raise the necessary funds for herself and her daughters.

‘I was freaked out about me and the girls being homeless,’ she said.

She said that while married to Gruffudd, their family lived in a three-bedroom, three-bathroom house in West Hollywood, which included a backyard and a pool.

Evans explained that they’ve had to downsize to a small 900 square foot condo in Encino, without a yard or pool, and it’s about 12 miles from West Hollywood. This move means his daughters have lost touch with their old friends.

Following the initial stage of the trial on March 4th, Judge Covey granted Gruffudd’s request to extend a restraining order against Evans for another five years. This decision came after hearing evidence that Evans had repeatedly posted harmful and untrue statements about her former partner and Wallace, who gave birth to their daughter, Mila, last November.

In court, Evans told the judge she was deeply ashamed and regretted her actions, and promised that she would no longer engage in online insults.

The judge wasn’t convinced by Evans’ apologies, pointing out that she had repeatedly broken the restraining order. This order specifically prohibited her from posting negative comments about the couple online and required her to stay at least 100 feet away from them.

He accused Evans of deliberately and maliciously attacking Gruffudd and Wallace with a sustained campaign of negative criticism.

He stated that Alice’s threats and attempts to intimidate Ioan led him to believe both he and Bianca were in physical danger.

She systematically cut him off from his children and repeatedly threatened to destroy his career, putting his ability to support them at risk.

Although Gruffudd is trying to end his child support payments to Evans, he didn’t object when she asked for more money for their two daughters. He agreed to increase his monthly payments from $3,000 to $3,579.

During the trial, Evans stated that Gruffudd hadn’t seen his daughters in two years. He also claimed that their mother had turned the teenagers against him, describing them as ‘poisoned and alienated’ from their father.
