The passing of Paul Walker is still a raw wound that hasn’t healed for his fans, especially those who watched him grow from Brian O’Conner to a beloved action hero.
On the 11th anniversary of Paul Walker’s untimely demise, Jordana Brewster looks back at their shared memories from the Fast & Furious series.
44-year-old actress, fresh from displaying her toned bikini figure, posted a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram, sharing a collection of casual photos featuring herself, the late actor, and other cast members.
Additionally, she wrote an affectionate message paying tribute to the actor who passed away at 40. This message encouraged fans to cherish life and highlighted the kind-hearted traits that made Walker so endearing.
She shared, “I felt really on edge this morning, irritable over even the smallest things. Then it hit me, someone who should be here isn’t. He was the one who uplifted everyone around him, worked tirelessly without showing it, and always had a touch of grace and humor about him. It’s been 11 years since we lost you, Paul Walker. I still miss you dearly.
Additionally, the actress mentioned Meadow Walker, the 26-year-old daughter of the deceased actor, who he had with his former partner Rebecca Soteros.
‘@MeadowWalker honors your legacy by embodying both beauty and strength,’ was how Brewster phrased it.
In response the actor’s daughter wrote, ‘I love you ❤️,’ earning nearly 3K likes.
In this paraphrase, Brewster’s rotating photo collection captured the moments when the duo filmed Fast & Furious 6. Additionally, Walker was seen posing with friends on a plane, and the pictures also depicted the same group lounging on the airport terminal floor with the handsome actor.
She included a throwback image of Walker lifting up his daughter when she was a baby.
On November 30th, it has been 11 years since the tragic car accident in Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles, which took the life of Walker, leaving us all to remember this heartbreaking day.
In that moment, they, along with their financial advisor, Roger Rodas, who happened to be driving, were en route to a charitable function aimed at assisting Typhoon Haiyan victims, traveling in a stunning cherry-red Porsche Carrera.
As a die-hard enthusiast, I can’t help but find the circumstances surrounding his demise downright chilling, considering his iconic portrayal of a character immersed in an underworld of illicit street racing and daring heists, as seen in the Fast & Furious series.
At the time, his publicist Ame Van Iden and team confirmed his death via Facebook and email.
Van Iden wrote: ‘Sadly, I must confirm that Paul did pass away this afternoon in a car accident.’
Shortly afterward, his Facebook post stated: ‘With deep sadness, we announce the untimely death of Paul Walker, who lost his life in a devastating car crash during a philanthropic event for his foundation Reach Out Worldwide.’
As a devoted admirer, I’ve learned that DailyMail.com uncovered the autopsy findings of the esteemed actor, which disclosed an unsettling sequence of events. The actor, miraculously, survived the initial force of the crash, but tragically succumbed to fire one minute later when his Porsche ignited and burned him alive.
Walker’s team also revealed that the fiery accident also cost Rodas his life.
‘He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives,’ the statement continued.
