Justin Timberlake cancels Oklahoma tour stop with just DAYS notice due to injury

As a die-hard Justin Timberlake fan living through the rollercoaster of his career, I must admit, this latest turn of events has left me both heartbroken and empathetic. I can’t help but feel like I’m going through it all with him – the highs, the lows, and the occasional detour off the beaten path (like that little bump in Sag Harbor).

Fans of Justin Timberlake in Oklahoma City were let down when the performer unexpectedly called off a concert set for Monday, December 2.

The artist famous for his hits “Sexy” and “Back,” aged 43, revealed on Saturday through Instagram that he is canceling his Forget Tomorrow tour due to a persistent back issue.

‘I’m so sorry Oklahoma City…I have to cancel the show on 12/2,’ Timberlake began the post.

He injured his back in New Orleans and his doctors have advised him to take a bit more rest. He expressed gratitude for the support, adding that he really dislikes having to do so.

He performed in New Orleans on November 25 and that was the last show before this cancelation.

This is the seventh time a concert of his has been cancelled, following six postponements in October due to illness.

The It’s Gonna Be Me singer is on a week-long hiatus from his tour, which began in April.

He called off his performance in Columbia, South Carolina scheduled for June, and delayed multiple shows in October because he fell ill with bronchitis and laryngitis.

The delayed performances in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio are scheduled for February 2025.

His “Forget Tomorrow” world tour marks a return after a five-year gap, as it coincides with the release of his newest studio album, entitled “Everything I Thought It Was.

Justin Timberlake embarked on a massive world tour comprising 115 concerts over a period of fifteen months, which kicked off at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on the 29th of April.

The tour is anticipated to conclude at Longchamp Racecourse in Paris on July 20, 2025, following visits to the U.S., Canada, South and Central America, the U.K., Ireland, and mainland Europe.

During the month of June, while on tour, a well-known singer known for his hit song “My Love” was apprehended for driving under the influence in the town of Sag Harbor, New York.

The ten-time Grammy Award recipient admitted guilt for driving under the influence, related to the June event.

A source revealed to PEOPLE recently that Timberlake has made every possible effort to reconcile with his wife, Jessica Biel, following his arrest on June 18th.

The performer known for “Can’t Stop the Feeling” and the actress from “Candy,” who were not pleased about the widely publicized arrest, have been keeping themselves occupied with work and prioritizing family time when they’re not working, as they care for their two sons, Silas (nine years old) and Phineas (four years old), according to an insider.

“They’ve been together for many years, in marriage,” and “they noted that, like most couples, they need to continuously nurture their relationship.

According to the source, being employed parents is seldom straightforward, adding complexity to their relationship. However, overall, they are both grateful that this phase of their lives is now behind them.

According to the source, Timberlake and Biel are determined to keep their marriage intact, overcoming any challenges that come their way.
