Buffy the Vampire Slayer lands new UK streaming home

As a seasoned gamer who’s navigated through countless virtual worlds and real-life obstacles, I’ve learned to appreciate the rare moments when a cherished part of my past finds its way back into the present. And now, dear reader, that very moment has come! It’s not every day that Buffy the Vampire Slayer, an icon of my youth and a beacon of girl power, makes her grand return to our screens – this time on ITVX.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is getting a new streaming home in the UK.

For Disney+ subscribers, the groundbreaking show from the turn of the millennium remains accessible and won’t be disappearing anytime soon. However, for those who don’t subscribe to Disney+ (or Paramount+, where it’s also available), a fresh, free option is on its way to debut.

ITV has shared that it will bring all seven seasons to its ITVX streaming platform as part of its winter program, which spans from January to March 2025. At this point, we don’t yet know an exact release date, but we’re hoping for more information soon.

Previously, all of Buffy was available to stream via Channel 4’s service, then known as All4.

Besides Party of Five and My Name is Earl, another program that was previously broadcast on All4 will be moving to ITVX. Both shows originally aired on Channel 4 at an earlier time, and they’re expected to join the platform sometime between January and March.

If you don’t want to wait, My Name Is Earl is also available now on Disney+.

Sarah Michelle Gellar’s latest show, the prequel to “Dexter” titled “Original Sin,” has released a trailer prior to its airing in a few weeks.

Simultaneously, they are planning a revival of the movie “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, but unfortunately, Sarah Michelle Gellar will not be playing her character again since it’s been established that hers is deceased. However, she is involved with the project in another role.

Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, my good friend, is the one in charge of this project. So, humorously, I don’t have an official position, but I make sure the continuity is maintained.
