The show then presents a believable, though fictional, international crisis as they attempt to limit his growing power. It also highlights how easily misinformation spreads online – especially through social media and viral videos – a particularly relevant issue today.

Messiah Features A Surprisingly Stacked Ensemble Cast

The series Messiah starts with a compelling idea and a captivating story, building suspense and featuring plenty of conflict. It’s made even better by its talented cast, including recent standouts like John Monaghan (from The White Lotus and Bad Monkey), alongside Beau Bridges, John Ortiz, Jane Adams, Dermot Mulroney, Emily Kinney, Philip Baker Hall, and others.
