Pregnant Charlotte Dawson says cruel trolls called social services and falsely accused her of neglecting her children and giving her son, 3, alcohol
As a seasoned observer of human dynamics, I find myself deeply moved by the resilience and strength displayed by these individuals. The trials they face – from sexting scandals to unjust investigations by child protection services – are daunting for anyone.
Charlotte Dawson asserts that heartless internet bullies maliciously reported her to child protective services, making false allegations about her alleged neglect of her children.
Previously on Ex On The Beach, a 32-year-old woman (who is currently six months along in her pregnancy with their third child) shares parenting duties for Noah, aged three, and Jude, who is one year old, with her partner Matt Sarsfield.
Charlotte mentioned that the individuals who made anonymous calls reached out to both a city council’s assistance service and the NSPCC without any substantiated grounds.
When talking to The Sun, she expressed, “They constantly contact social services over any post I share on Instagram. It’s sad.
It’s a mystery to me who this person is, yet they persist unrelentingly. I haven’t received any news from them for a while now, but I have a feeling I’ll hear something soon.
‘I don’t know who it is and I don’t really care any more because it’s just pathetic. There are people that actually need social services’ help, you know, not me.’
The latest instance was in October, where Charlotte shared a picture featuring herself and Nozeco – a non-alcoholic equivalent of Prosecco.
For about a year now, the popular television personality has been handling mysterious phone calls, stemming from an incident where someone tipped off social services alleging that Charlotte had frequently been under the influence of alcohol in the presence of her kids.
Essentially, Charlotte shared on Instagram that Noah often gets hurt when he’s with me, I’m usually intoxicated when I’m with him, he frequently needs to go to the hospital, and it’s just a whole mess of problems.
They informed us that neither myself nor Matthew are competent enough to care for Noah, and it appears he needs to be placed with someone else.
A baseless accusation was made against Charlotte, alleging that she provided alcohol to Noah and distributed his explicit images online via social media platforms.
Charlotte isn’t the first person in the limelight to fall prey to trolls calling social services.
Previously, Kirsty Allsop expressed her indignation when she faced questioning from child services due to permitting her 15-year-old son to travel InterRailing through Europe on his own.
In an unusual step, a social worker reached out to the TV host, sharing the news that a case had been initiated due to child protection issues surrounding her young son, Oscar.
Angrily, the social worker asked the 52-year-old about the precautions taken when she agreed to let Oscar journey across the continent with a 16-year-old companion for three weeks.
Incredibly thrilling it was for me to learn that my local council, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC), might just hold onto the file regarding my case. You never know, if another referral pops up, they might swing by my humble abode again to delve deeper into this intriguing matter!
To the Mail On Sunday, Kirsty expressed that the council’s behavior was “Orwellian” and “extremely inappropriate.
She mentioned that the officials didn’t grasp the fact that she was the victim of a malicious accusation, which incorrectly claimed negligence against her.
She expressed her feelings by saying, “I felt utterly nauseous – extremely nauseous, indeed. Then, I became quite upset. I was incredibly upset. The situation was simply mind-boggling. It seemed as if I had stepped into an alternate reality where they were genuinely addressing the matter seriously.
‘I have broken no law and nothing about allowing my child to travel around Europe is neglectful.’
Recently, Charlotte has shared her journey towards forgiving her partner Matthew, who was involved in a sexting scandal. She likens this experience to going through a ‘process of grieving.’
Back in August, the celebrity from reality TV announced that she and her 33-year-old partner were expecting their unexpected third child. This surprising news came only a few weeks after it was made public that Matt had been exchanging explicit messages with another woman.
After making amends, Charlotte stated that Matt is no longer allowed on social media, as she finds it challenging to regain trust due to its prolonged process.
To TopMob, Charlotte candidly discussed her relationship, explaining that they were proceeding cautiously and that leaving after eight years together could have seemed simpler.
In a heartfelt manner, the celebrity opened up about rebuilding trust with her partner and the time required for this journey: “Even though we’re in the public eye, this is our genuine experience. This is what we’ve truly been going through – it’s not just for entertainment! It’s one of those situations that involves a great deal of pain, similar to grieving.
As Charlotte delved deeper into the topic of forgiveness, she explained, ‘We’re proceeding cautiously, handling things one day at a time. After all, we’ve got a little one coming soon and a whole family to consider.’
In simpler terms, I often find it more challenging to remain with them, while leaving seems relatively easier for me. Are you following my thought process here? Essentially, we’re content where we are.
In my current approach to life, I’m choosing to tread carefully and my partner is currently off the grid when it comes to social media. It’s a decision that makes sense given our situation right now. I believe this pause from the digital world is beneficial for us at this time.
Don’t you often find yourself getting lost in the endless scrolling on social media for hours at a stretch? It can be quite time-consuming, and before you know it, you’ve fallen into the pattern of seeking likes, right?
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: “I find myself in a peaceful state, detached from the ongoing social media buzz. It was my choice, I opted out and I must admit, it’s quite refreshing. Initially, I planned to re-engage, but then I decided to stay away.
Charlotte mentioned that even if Matt resumes using social media, it won’t necessarily end their relationship, as they are learning to build trust in one another. She also noted that Matt would come back to social media when it feels appropriate for him.
