Ashley Cain becomes a father again! Star welcomes a baby boy named Atlas – three years after the death of daughter Azaylia
As a compassionate observer, I find myself deeply moved by Ashley’s heart-wrenching journey with his daughter, Azaylia. His strength and resilience in the face of unimaginable pain is truly inspiring. The raw emotion he poured into his interview on Paul Carrick Brunson’s podcast, We Need To Talk, resonates deeply within me.
Ashley Cain has welcomed his third child – a son named Atlas Diamond Cain.
Initially, the reality TV personality from Ex On The Beach welcomed his first child, Azaylia, with his former partner Safiyya Vorajee. Heartbreakingly, little Azaylia lost her life to leukemia in April 2021 when she was only eight months old.
In January of this year, he welcomed his son Aliyas with a new companion. Later, he disclosed that their romantic relationship had ended, but they are contentedly parenting together.
On Friday, Ashley joyfully revealed the arrival of his third baby, showering us with photos and expressing a heart overflowing with love and anticipation.
As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment because my beloved star is out there, living his dreams on the set of Ashley Cain: Into The Danger Zone for the BBC. This means I missed the magical moment when Atlas made his early entrance into the world, a month ahead of schedule!
He wrote: ‘When you rearrange your final two filming dates three times to make sure you’re back for your son’s birth, fully expecting him to be just like you – LATE. He surprises everyone by showing up a month early!
Although I’m extremely disappointed that I couldn’t attend, my heart swells with affection and enthusiasm instead.
I’m eagerly looking forward to moving past perilous areas and returning home to receive the warmest welcome imaginable – embraces, smooches, and cozy cuddles on the couch with my precious little boy.
‘Your big sister, Azaylia, will forever be a radiant, powerful, and valiant guardian angel looking after you, Atlas.’
You’ll form an indestructible connection with your exceptional older brother, Aliyas, who will always be there to support you, safeguard your interests, and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you.
‘May your body grow strong, your mind grow wise, your heart remain loving, and your spirit stay pure and truly powerful!
‘See you soon, my boy – I love you.’
There’s uncertainty about whether the mother of his upcoming third child is the same individual as the one who gave birth to his second. We’ve reached out to Ashley’s public relations team for a statement on this matter.
On Thursday, November 21st, Ashley shared that he was anticipating another addition to his family. He disclosed this joyful news of having a baby boy, expressing relief and happiness following the series of hardships they had faced.
Accompanying photos of his son Aliyas, as well as an unusual collection of images featuring his purple Lamborghini, he captioned: “**’Another One’ in the voice of DJ Khaled.**
‘Soon, my youngest daughter will gain an additional younger sibling, whom she’ll look after. Meanwhile, my oldest son will transition from being just a baby brother to also serving as a protective older brother.’
Ashley went on to express: “After everything I’ve experienced, it feels wonderful to begin appreciating life’s blessings once more!
Now, it’s time for me to travel to two notoriously hazardous locations worldwide, where I will shoot the concluding episodes of my freshly launched TV series.
‘So for now, I’m sad to say goodbye, but I look forward to seeing you both soon, my little men. And to my guardian angel, I’ll never ever be without you because I can feel your presence in every step I take.
Life often presents us with hurdles, yet it generously offers instances that overflow our hearts with pure happiness. Cheers to the path before us and the wonderful people who enrich it.
Ashley hasn’t revealed the identity of Aliyas’s mother, who is now ten months old, but in the past, he has spoken candidly about their harmonious shared parenting journey.
He informed TopMob: ‘We’re maintaining our friendship, and we’re sharing the role of parents. Our relationship is strong, which is why it remains this way.’
It’s been wonderful, indeed, to cooperate so harmoniously, even surpassing amicable relations, as we both share the same concern for Aliyas’s wellbeing.
In a nutshell, we share mutual affection and admiration, and our primary goal is to be the finest parents possible for our son. Furthermore, we aim to cherish him as well as appreciate and make the most out of each other and life in general.
“We’re handling everything thoroughly, making it quite convenient for us. It’s straightforward too. Moreover, all our decisions are thoughtfully made with our son in mind, which is fantastic.
After the birth, Ashley was trolled for naming his newborn son after late daughter, Azaylia.
On Instagram, he disclosed that he had honored his deceased daughter by incorporating her middle name, Diamond, which turned out to be a cherished family custom.
Ashley faced numerous comments from his fans, who criticized the name they considered disrespectful towards his ex-partner – Aliyas Diamond Cain, as chosen for his son.
Safiyya expressed deep sorrow because Ashley had a child with another person, and furthermore, he allegedly asked her to attempt having a second child together following their separation.
She had been hoping for a reconciliation but admitted she hadn’t been explicit about that.
Last month, Ashley revealed the trauma over his daughter Azaylia‘s death will ‘never leave’ him.
Previously known soccer player Ashley, along with his former partner Safiyya, successfully gathered over £1.5 million to cover Azaylia’s unique medical care before she passed away. Any remaining funds were donated to The Azaylia Foundation, an organization dedicated to aiding families and creating unforgettable moments for children battling cancer.
After her passing, Ashley has dedicated each day to tackling seemingly insurmountable tasks and has persevered through pain, exertion, and tears in order to preserve the memory of his daughter.
On Paul Carrick Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, he shared that he doesn’t think his trauma will vanish from him, and he doesn’t wish for it to do so because the agony he experiences is a testament of his love for his daughter.
In a heartfelt conversation, Ashley reminisced about initially noticing his daughter’s symptoms and learning she had cancer.
One day, my partner noticed a swollen area on her abdomen that appeared bruised. Upon our call, they asked us to arrive immediately. The medical staff drew blood from Azaylia.
They informed us that she had been diagnosed with an extremely aggressive form of leukemia known as AMR leukemia. Her chances of succumbing to the disease are quite high, while the possibility of a successful treatment is relatively low.
They immediately informed us about it, and we were transferred to Birmingham Children’s Hospital. From that point on, that became the trajectory of my life.
Initially, I had all the happiness and fulfillment I’d ever desired. However, my world suddenly flipped, leaving me devastated. I crumbled under the pressure, finding it hard to carry on, let alone stand or speak.
Originally, Ashley, Safiyya, and Azaylia had intended to visit Singapore for specialized leukemia treatment; unfortunately, doctors determined that her condition was too critical for the trip.
Ashley remembered: ‘The day the consultant informed us that Azalyia’s tumors had returned, multiplying in her stomach, kidney, spleen, and brain. Sadly, this meant she would no longer be able to travel by air. There was no treatment available.’
In simpler terms, the radiation treatment proved to be excessively severe, potentially fatal. Regrettably, at that stage, they informed us that no further help was available.
Originally, I had been wishing that my daughter would conquer cancer. However, over time, my hope transformed into a desire for her passing to be tranquil, so that we could embrace her one last time.
As Ashley reminisced about the day Azaylia left them, he shared: “We continued to administer transfusions to keep her going, so she could leave us peacefully.
One morning, we realized the time had come. We ensured she was held close to us, and I kept track of the intervals between her breaths, until there were no more. That moment is forever etched in my memory.
