On Thursday, Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor made an elegant entrance at Zoe Law’s Legends photography exhibition held at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
Previously known as a cast member on Made in Chelsea, at 35 years old, she’s currently engaged in renovating her newly acquired home alongside her spouse, Hugo, aged 38. For a change from their ongoing home improvement projects, they both decided to dress up and enjoy an evening out.
On the splendid evening, Millie opted for a striking appearance in a deep-black, crushed velvet dress that showcased an audacious split running along her right thigh.
She added inches to her statuesque frame as she slipped into a pair of towering black shiny stilettos.
Millie completed her style by adding a striking pair of silver and blue drop earrings that hung down towards her neckline.
After completing her sophisticated outfit, she neatly arranged her long, loose blonde hair into a casual middle-parted bun.
With an equal measure of elegance and charisma, Hugo made a striking entrance in his beautifully fitted, stylishly casual light-grey, two-piece suit.
He layered his blazer over a crisp white shirt, a thin black satin tie and shiny black suit shoes.
Millie and Hugo went out not long after Millie had unveiled the grand renovation of her new, luxurious home, which she had recently showcased with a stunning makeover.
With a noticeable sense of joy, she seemed more content than before, given the advancements made thus far. She eagerly posted about her newest endeavor on Instagram.
The television host captivated her followers by transforming a kitchen into a cozy home cinema, featuring a spacious corner sofa and a big-screen TV.
On Instagram, Millie posted a photo album featuring her vintage-style kitchen, complete with weathered cabinets and somewhat soiled fixtures.
Later on, Millie provided some insight into the effort and stages involved in achieving the transformation, showing a couple of images that demonstrated her kitchen being demolished to create her home cinema.
However, it seemed that all efforts had been worthwhile, for Millie joyously posted a picture of herself looking radiantly content, seated in a luxurious blue cinema room adorned with midnight-blue paneling.
The walls were filled with colourful novels and mood lighting which neatly stacked around a swanky flat screen TV.
In the photos, Millie appeared comfortable, nestled into her fresh corner sofa, lounging comfortably in her casual attire.
She penned: ”Our snug before and after! There’s something special about creating a little sanctuary in your home, and our tv room has truly become just that. It was originally the kitchen and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house, it’s our go-to for slowing down and switching off in the evenings.
This space envelopes you, offering a snuggly experience whether you’re engrossed in a captivating book under a cozy cover, enjoying a quiet movie night, or basking in tranquility – it’s like receiving a comforting embrace from a warm blanket.
They skillfully crafted custom woodwork that beautifully transformed this space into a tranquil retreat. From ingenious storage ideas to illuminated shelving, each element contributes to the cozy and soothing atmosphere.
