As a devoted Beatles fan who has grown up listening to their timeless music, I must say that witnessing Paul McCartney sneak into the premiere of “Beatles ’64” was nothing short of surreal. It’s like stepping back into the 1960s and seeing history unfold right before my eyes.

On Thursday, James McCartney gracefully stood out while attending a unique showing of the latest Beatles ’64 movie in Mayfair, London.

47-year-old James McCartney, who bears a strong resemblance to rock icon Sir Paul McCartney, opted for a stylish look at the event, donning a sleek, geometric-patterned black jacket.

He paired his blazer with a relaxed black round-neck t-shirt, wore a set of well-fitted grey slacks, and completed the look.

To finish off his stylish carpet ensemble, he chose sleek suede shoes and added a silver watch on his wrist, occasionally giving the cameras a peek of his charming grin.

Additionally present were Gary Kemp, Jeremy Irons, Sinéad Cusack, Richard Curtis, Dodie Clark (also known as Dodo), Sir Bob Geldof, Jeanne Marine, Martin Freeman, Olivia Harrison, Tim McInnerny, and Margaret Bodde.

In the forthcoming documentary series, I’ll be immersed in reliving my personal journey witnessing The Beatles’ electrifying U.S. debut in 1964, an event that sparked an unparalleled phenomenon known as Beatlemania – a time when their fame swept across the globe like a whirlwind.

The movie includes fresh conversations with both Paul and Ringo Starr, along with previously saved talks featuring their deceased bandmates, John Lennon and George Harrison.

At the recent event, James made an appearance following the unexpected arrival of his father, Paul, who secretly attended the premiere of The Beatles’ 1964 documentary at the Hudson Square Theatre in New York City on Sunday.

In the heart of the performance space, the 82-year-old musician found a comfortable spot, accompanied by his wife, Nancy (age 65), as well as the comedian Chris Rock.

As those nearby stayed composed, Paul could be spotted enthusiastically waving to some spectators. Afterward, he settled down to watch the recently released movie, directed by renowned director Martin Scorsese, who is now 82 years old.

Just before the movie began, it was revealed that Paul was present, and most people spotted him while settling into their seats.

In awe of Paul’s presence, the fan penned: ‘Trying to watch the latest Beatles documentary and there he appears.’

She added in the caption: ‘And if I said I cried during the first ten minutes…’

In a different setting, picture yourself viewing a Beatles documentary, with Paul McCartney seated right beside you.

‘Wow, it seems we all share the same oxygen!’ (for the first sentence)

‘Paul McCartney is the one celebrity I would absolutely die if I saw in person.’

Others humorously suggested: “Perhaps he quietly said ‘I recognize them’ to the person beside him, nodding towards John Lennon and George Harrison”; or simply, “He was there to verify the identities.

Beatles ’64 premieres on November 29 and will be available to stream on Disney+.
