As a seasoned observer of the ever-evolving world of music and entertainment, it’s fascinating to witness the unexpected turns that even the most iconic figures can take. Case in point: Courtney Love, the Goddess of Grunge who, despite her rebellious image, seems to have found an affinity for an unlikely musical sensation – East 17.

On Wednesday evening, Courtney Love displayed a seemingly ageless face at the glamorous debut event for Kate Moss’ Zara collection, held at Oswald’s in Mayfair, London.

At the age of 60, the woman with a flair for rock music captured everyone’s attention as she confidently entered the venue wearing a tiny black gown and towering high-heels.

The loose clothing she wore briefly revealed her stunning physique, with intricate silver studs adorning the cuffs of her sleeves.

The mother-of-one accessorised with a silver pendant and small black handbag and accentuated her taut features by wearing pink eyeshadow and a slick of rosy lip gloss.

Previously, Courtney humorously expressed her thoughts on ‘aging gracefully’ in 2014, stating: “Please, don’t ask me about aging gracefully.

‘C’mom, I took advice from Goldie Hawn when she said I should get a facelift at 35!’

The next year saw a shift in her feelings, expressing to Harper’s Bazaar, “I believe that aging gracefully means simply going with the flow.

‘People in my family can become overweight, but they don’t wrinkle. I’m blessed that way.

Over the last three to four years, I’ve experienced a significant transformation. To my perspective, growing old elegantly means embracing change and acceptance.

‘In my experience, fighting it always seems to backfire and make people look ridiculous.

‘You see actresses get work done and it makes them unrecognizable. I look at these actresses like Diane Keaton, who has never anything done, and I think that’s cool. It’s sexy, really.’

Courtney disclosed that she maintained her appearance by practicing Pilates, yoga, focusing on her spiritual well-being, and incorporating juice cleansing into her routine.

Previously reported, the lead singer of The Hole opted for a facial rejuvenation procedure that uses her own transplanted fat tissue instead of traditional surgical methods. She underwent this stem cell facelift in her twenties following a rhinoplasty surgery.

In 2010, a friend shared with The Mail that Courtney appears more radiant than ever before. They mentioned that she has been frequenting the office of renowned facial rejuvenation specialist, Dr. Sam Rizk, located on Park Avenue – considered the pinnacle in this field.

Over a span of five years, this therapy effectively firms and tightens your skin while preventing it from drooping around the neck area.

Last month, Courtney surprised fans when she revealed her unlikely musical tastes.

On an episode of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, the Deity of Dirtiness made an appearance, honoring everything related to Rock music, and had a humorous exchange with the lead vocalist of East 17, Terry Coldwell.

In the context of discussing funeral tunes, Joel Dommett commented following Terry’s performance as follows: “It’s only right to say that East 17’s ‘Stay Another Day’ could make an excellent choice for a funeral song.

Courtney told Terry: ‘On my Christmas playlist every year.’

Terry replied: ‘I saw you on YouTube, saying it was one of your favourite songs!’

Courtney inquired: “I have a connection, it’s a fellow named Bret. He’s pals with my acting buddy. Can you remind me of the name of the guy from East 17 who handles bands?

Jamali Maddix interjected humorously, “It feels like I’m waiting at a bus stop,” prompting a wave of laughter from the crowd.

As an ardent fan, I’m delighted to share that the iconic trio behind East 17 – myself included Brian Harvey, Tony Mortimer, and John Hendy – were responsible for some timeless classics like “Stay Another Day,” “Deep,” and “Steam.
