Peaky Blinders star shows off bleach blonde hair transformation
As a seasoned gamer of the Peaky Blinders universe spanning over a decade, I must admit that Paul Anderson’s new bleach blonde look is like seeing Arthur Shelby reincarnated as Elton John! It’s a stark contrast to his familiar mug, yet it adds an intriguing twist to my anticipation for the upcoming film.
Peaky Blinders star Paul Anderson has unveiled a dramatic new hair transformation.
As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but notice the striking transformation on the Instagram feed of the man renowned for his role as Arthur Shelby in that beloved BBC show. His freshly bleached blond hair, a stark contrast to the iconic character he played, left me marveling at the versatility and charisma he continues to display, even off-screen.
His post caption read, “Here’s my fresh new haircut – check out the front cover!” accompanied by a picture showcasing his latest color and style change.
In June, it was officially announced by Netflix that they are producing a film based on the series “Peaky Blinders.” The original creator, Stephen Knight, will be penning a fresh storyline for the Shelby clan.
It remains uncertain if Anderson will take on his character again for the movie, but it has been confirmed that Cillian Murphy is set to return in the role of Tommy Shelby.
Additionally, Sophie Runde reappears in her role as Ada Thorne, Tommy Shelby’s sister. Furthermore, Tommy’s associates Charlie Strong (played by Ned Dennehy), Johnny Dogs (Packy Lee), and Curly (Ian Peck) will also be present.
Stephen Graham recently hinted that he’ll reprise his role as Hayden Stagg, a character introduced in the sixth season of the show, last month.
The forthcoming movie has also gained several new actors, such as Barry Keoghan from Saltburn, Rebecca Ferguson known for Dune, and Tim Roth, who is famous for his roles in Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
The filming for the movie has started, and enthusiasts have already been given a sneak peek at images featuring Keoghan and Murphy.
In addition to its setting, it’s been revealed that the film is set during World War II. The actor Knight mentioned to Metro: “This is a very particular tale, inspired by a real-life event from World War II, and we plan to tell it in the distinctive Peaky Blinders style.
Murphy’s personality carries traces of past conflicts; he served valiantly in the First World War, holding the rank of Sergeant Major, and was honored with awards for bravery.
Nevertheless, it was evident that the war took a lasting toll on Shelby. He frequently experienced nightmares and symptoms associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Viewers must be patient and watch the movie to discover if Tommy Shelby has any private connections to World War Two.
You can currently watch the Peaky Blinders series on both BBC iPlayer and Netflix. However, as of now, there’s no set release date for the Peaky Blinders movie.
