Rocket League Season 17 Gets Underway Next Week With Online Free Play, New Cars, and ‘Reimagined’ Neo Tokyo
As a seasoned Rocket League player with countless hours under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for Season 17! The neo-arcade-inspired updates and content have me yearning for the good old days of arcades and pixelated graphics. The Shokunin Car Body alone is worth the wait, and I can’t help but feel a bit envious of those who snap up the Rocket Pass Premium early.
Next week, Psyonix is set to launch Season 17 of Rocket League, offering an array of neo-arcade-style updates and additions. Among these new elements will be the Shokunin Car Body, which can be yours by acquiring the Rocket Pass Premium.
In this revamped version of a futuristic Tokyo arcade (Arena), you’ll find not only Online Free Play but also special events like the Free Play Party Limited-Time Event, which includes two tasks with associated prizes. Additionally, there will be unique game modes such as Split Shot and 3v3 Split Shot Heatseeker Limited-Time Modes.
As a gaming enthusiast, I can’t wait to dive into the world of Online Free Play! This feature gives me the perfect opportunity to hone my skills or simply have a fun match with friends when not engaged in official matches. The convenience lies in the fact that you can create Sessions directly from the main menu, after finishing a game, or even while searching for an opponent.
In the offline Free Play mode of all available arenas, you have the freedom to select from four game modes: Soccar, Hoops, Snow Day, and Drop Shop. Additionally, you can customize your experience with boost options and goal reset settings. To top it off, Tokyo Machine’s latest track ‘Play (VIP)’ will be yours for free as a Player Anthem!
