First trailer for Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor’s new thriller

As a fan who has been following Phoebe Dynevor’s career since her days on “Coronation Street”, I am absolutely thrilled to see her take on such a challenging role in “Inheritance”. Her journey from Weatherfield to the globe-trotting, action-packed adventure of Maya is nothing short of inspiring.

The initial teaser for the upcoming movie titled “Inheritance,” featuring Phoebe Dynevor from “Bridgerton,” has been unveiled.

As a devoted fan, I found myself immersed in the thrilling tale where Dynevor, my beloved Daphne from the Netflix series, steps into the shoes of Maya. This character embarks on an exhilarating journey around the globe, uncovering a surprising secret about her father (Rhys Ifans) – his past life as a spy!

Following her involvement in a global secretive scheme, Maya embarks on journeys to Egypt, India, and South Korea, aiming to perfect her father’s abilities while simultaneously unearthing the mysteries hidden within his past.

The thrilling preview, highlighting Maya’s chaotic odyssey through multiple continents, contains numerous hand-to-hand fights and high-speed chases, with her being falsely accused of hiding sensitive government information.

Apart from Dynevor and Ifans, the cast for Inheritance features Ciara Baxendale, Kersti Bryan, Daniel Joey Albright, Mitchell Hochman, Majd Eid, Byron Clohessy, Salim Siddiqui, and José Alvarez as well.

Neil Burger, who’s famed for movies like “Limitless,” “Divergent,” and “The Marsh King’s Daughter,” is helming a film he co-scripted with Olen Steinhauer. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on January 24, 2025.

More casually: Recently, Dynevor, known for roles in “The Colour Room” and “Fair Play,” talked about her personal bond with her mom Sally, a star on “Coronation Street.” Interestingly enough, even though they’re both actors, Dynevor shared that they seldom delve into each other’s work lives.
